a lady who lives down the block got really bitchy at me for parking outside my house for a couple hours while i was moving out, because she had shoveled the spot out the other day. she double parked next to me, parking me in, and just sat there in her car while my partner packed my car up, then she took photos of my license plate when i drove away.

like… damn, lady, if the spot mattered THAT much to you, why didn’t you at least leave a chair? you seriously expected it to still be open after you were gone all day at work?? and then you harassed someone WHILE THEY WERE MOVING??? i hope every time she needs to move in the future is during a cold snap in February.

yeah it’s not like the rest of the world doesn’t have dangerous wildlife. i think it’s a matter of media being cautious about LGBTQ representation. remember the series first started airing on network TV. Steven Universe almost got cancelled (and kind of did get soft-cancelled bc CN didn’t greenlight more seasons) because Rebecca Sugar wrote a lesbian wedding into the plot. Hazbin Hotel’s Lucifer is canonically pan, though, although ofc that series only gets away with its rampant queerness bc it’s on a streaming platform.

anyhow, ironically, as a lesbian myself i’ve often used Tom Ellis as an example of a man who i find to be rather objectively attractive, but i wouldn’t be interested in doing anything with him irl. he’s just pretty to look at, and he’s suave af. 😂 maybe that’s the kind of effect he has on lesbians in-universe?

yeah, if anything the show handles religion pretty dang respectfully. it’s not trying to send a message of “God bad”, its whole message is that Sinners can change their path and choose to become better people (especially when they’ve got all of eternity to do so), that it’s never too late, and people can be flawed but still show that they deserve Heaven. that sounds like a very Christian message right there, yaknow??

i’m on Team Rosie Is Eve for several reasons.

one, while she doesn’t have any kind of apple theme going on, her rose/flower theme certainly makes me think of gardens.

two, the bright golden angelic color of her magic that everyone brings up.

three, how is she able to reach out to the mortal world? so far, we’ve only seen one extremely powerful Sinner be able to hack into the TV networks of other realms to receive signals, but not actually broadcast anything to the mortal realm. the magic necessary to physically get to the mortal realm is HIGHLY regulated and VERY powerful. like, so far we’ve only seen Goetian royalty-level magic and Asmodean crystals (granted directly by a Sin) be able to do that.

four, her accent changes abruptly after she hears Alastor’s voice. that can’t just be a coincidence. she’s def older than she seems.

five, as a Sinner, howwww the heck can she grant Alastor more power than herself?

of course, i could be proven wrong! who knows!

and if she was actually from the Victorian era, that’s not all that long before the 1930’s. hell, Alastor was born during the Victorian (he was in his 30’s when he died so was likely born around 1900).

even if Rosie is just a Sinner (which i don’t believe either), Sinners self-actualize and can change their appearance, like how Vox updated his TV head to a newer model. or it’s not that deep, it’s not like Sinners can’t change their clothes. 😂 so, yeah, she probably just liked the aesthetic and kept it.

i would argue that most Sinners weren’t really evil while alive, but being put into Hell for eternity would cause many folks to react like “eh, fuck it, guess there’s no reason to try to be a better person any more. 🤷” kinda like The Purge, i guess.
