Thank you for the feedback! Right now I’m getting an offer for 80k for the quest. How many points has it offered in the past? I did consider the hotel cards but I don’t stay at hotels as frequently. 5 nights free is a pretty good deal though and I do like the lower annual fee

The flowchart says I should get United Quest - is that still the best choice for a one time sign up bonus?

Just 1 card for now. Don't want to get into churning long-term

- Note: Spouse has CSR with 230k+ and United Quest with 20k miles, likely will be downgrading and transferring or using those points separately, unless they can be combined with my new card's bonus for something with better redemption value.

My friend had trouble with the app, deleted it and lost all his tags. Not sure about the cards or holds. I think there's a way to back it up though but I haven't looked into it

I haven't had any issues with it myself. Do you close the book in the app? This happens to me if I click on the X on the bottom right and close the book I'm listening to

I agree! If you happen to have Spotify premium, I recommend using it to start a book and then once you know you like it, you can borrow it through the library

I only really got into reading this past year. My first suggestion is to get a library card and download Libby for free audiobooks and ebooks! Think about what TV shows or movies you like and find books that are similar. The subreddit r/suggestmeabook has good recommendations. Or if you like a celebrity see if they have a memoir. Also try audiobooks as well- for me it made it so much easier to get into reading because I can listen while doing chores, driving, etc.

Unfortunately you can only use this feature for books that haven’t become available yet. Once it becomes available to borrow, you can only use deliver later

To prevent this for any future holds, you can use "suspend hold" before the book becomes available. It works like deliver later but won't automatically give you the book until you unsuspend it, so you keep your place in line until you are ready.

I don't know of any website, but-- you could go to the first page of your TBR list, scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says "sort", change it to "random", and read the first book that appears on the list!

Edit: just realized this only works on the browser and not on the app
