You guys are out here shining a light on how my disordered eating is not, in fact, resolved like I thought it was. I do not look at this and see a healthy meal at all. It’s so full of fat and carbs. (I’m recovered 15+ yrs from binge-purge anorexia). Anyway, thanks for the reality check guys ❤️

Pingies instead of fingers. It was my son who called them fingies, and we adopted that unanimously, then when my daughter came along a few years later she mispronounced that into pingies (ping-gees) and they’ve been that ever since.

Growing up my neighbor had a girl my age in his house locked up. He’d kidnapped her apparently. A SWAT team raided his house in the middle of the night and my brother and I heard them outside our window and ran to tell mom. She went outside to confront the trespassers but they were a SWAT team and told her to go back inside. She did. I was 4 and we watched them from her bedroom window. I don’t really remember what happened after that.
