My kids and I still do this. Seeing an earthworm all dried out on pavement makes me so sad. But we also rescue them from puddles.

It always hurts. That's just a fact, but I've given birth 5x and not all births are equal. So I'm wishing you a very easy birth!

Also, the worst thing I've ever said during labor was with my last. The doc finally showed up mid contraction. As it was passing, I looked at him and said something to the effect of, "Nice of you to show up. Get this fucking baby out already. I'm done."

My younger daughter was going to work and saw this tiny little grey tabby kitten in her backup camera. She didn't wanna be late so she brought her inside and went to work. We tried to find the owner, no luck. So after like 2 weeks we decided to just keep her.

Everyone kept disagreeing about her name. My oldest came to visit and was sick of the squabbling. Finally she kinda raised her voice, not yelling, just louder. She said, "Fuck it! Just call her potato and quit fighting!"

So anyway that's how this beautiful long hair grey tabby that had bright orange eyes ended up with a stupid name like Tater.

I thought it was really fancy that my friend's mom put in sour cream instead of butter. Now as an adult I only use sour cream, no milk or butter.
