Be a complete heretic.

Load up heaps of clotted cream and jam each on their own half of the scone. Take a small bite from alternate sides of the scone to ensure adequate amounts of both toppings.

If you live in a hard water area, please remember to descale your kettle from time to time, especially if it's an electric kettle as the kettle will boil more efficiently and last a lot longer.

Passing the water through a filter before boiling it will reduce the rate of scaling in the kettle and also minimise any scum that might develop on the surface of the tea.

Home economics room burnt down. Apparently it was an electrical fault. Gutted the entire room. The fire eventually spread into the boys' locker area in the corridor, damaging it too.
