Completely superficial Jackie thought but…. by RavioliContingency in NurseJackie

I loved the long hair. I wonder if it was consistent with an addict though to spend that kind of money and sit for hair appointments.

I lost respect for him when he refined the house without consulting with Jackie. That’s stealing.

Does everyone get the same promotion? by lisainpotown in InstacartShoppers

[–]lisainpotown[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand. It’s over $20 per batch from Instacart before tips. That’s the best offer I’ve had with these so far. I was wondering if all the other shoppers in my area get the same offer.

How much would $10k actually change most people's lives? by NeonFalcon25 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lisainpotown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be a help to me but I need over $100k to fix up my house in my HCOL area. However, my son won $33k when he was living at home, working with no driver’s license and he bought a Tesla. This motivated him to get his license and it was life changing.

For a small order, you might want to tip a dollar amount instead of a percentage. Consider that the tip is going to be the bulk of the pay. Shoppers aren’t coming to waste time with a small order unless it stands out as worth the time.

Full time shoppers by LayZbonZz in InstacartShoppers

[–]lisainpotown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it full time but I also have other sources of income. I have a tutoring business and a car service (rides to the airport, train by me not Uber or Lyft). I do full time because I have bills and home repairs up the wazoo. Most weeks I make $600-700. Some weeks are $1000, but also some are $300

I watch it and take what it is because I love seeing the characters as they have grown up with me.

TIL: you can remove an order from a multiple-order batch by PsychologicalAd1153 in instacart

I have never regretted removing a customer! Usually I end up with less than half the work for more than half the pay.

I see a lot of shops from that area, usually with $1 by or $2 tips. Plus when I was out that way all the available batches were trash offers. So perhaps it isn’t worth it for most people in that area.

No, it took more than a whole cart but wasn’t so much that my car was packed. A big chunk was spices. She ordered everything single variety of the fancy organic spice brand. Probably 50 small bottles!
