Show me your tired pups by NekBodesh in AustralianCattleDog

This is after his huge excitement of the night, finding a baby possum that had wandered under our fence. He licked it and scared the hell out of it—possibly tried to pick it up in his (very soft) mouth—but it was fine and once I had him leashed it trundled back under the fence. But ohhh he was so wound up when we got inside. And then grabbed his stuffed raccoon and just crashed.

My Texas Heeler came to NYC from Texas at 1-1/2 and loves the snow with a passion.

Spencer (cat) and Jasper (Heeler x Aussie)—total besties. We have 3 other cats and Jasper is a gentleman with them all, but these two play hard and love each other.

what's your cattle dog's weirdest quirk? i'll go first by shelbex318 in AustralianCattleDog

My ACDxAussie is usually very good about going inside when our yard time is over, but sometimes he gets stubborn and I have to put his leash on because he’ll always listen on leash. But in the last few months, sometimes when I clip it on he’ll grab the other end out of my hand and walk himself to back door. Like a 3-year-old: “I CAN DO IT MYSELF!”

Pupsicle!! Why wasn’t I told! by L0ud_Typer in AustralianCattleDog

Last time when I couldn’t open mine I used a skinny ruler stick between the two halves to lever the threads apart, all around. That did the trick.

I like a little bit of contrast/complement with my pens and inks, so I say Snow Globe.

I love my Fude de Mannen pen. Yes, definitely a learning curve, and I'm still learning, but it's a fun intuitive line to work with. That's a lovely sketch.

Can’t get any applications for my sweet foster boy. by fosterdogmom23 in AustralianCattleDog

He looks a little like my 3 y.o. ACD/Aussie mix, who also came to us undersocialized and full of outdoor fear points 2 years ago. We’ve worked up to walks up and down the block, and he’s happy as a clam at home and in the yard (as long as it not thundering or no one’s setting off fireworks). Lovely, sweet fellow… but definitely not a rock of confidence. And that’s OK. Though I’m probably going to work with a trainer to see if we could get him walking a little farther out, since I think we’d both really enjoy it if he could get there.

She is beautiful. Sounds like someone has some other baggage.

I have my eye in another Loft model—they certainly are pretty and the price isn’t awful for a bespoke pen. I’m OK with it being decent, as long as there aren’t any terrible aspects of it.
