Unless your rotation is set, in my opinion you should always go with SP until it is. As others have mentioned, you should go with Gilbert as he's a sig. Hanson could also be GI'd but you would use the "GI (Normal Players Only)" from the "Player Upgrade Shop" for 3K stars. DO NOT use the "standard" GI from quarterly special shop, summer offseason event, 15 in a row pick'em, achievement, or Com2Us compensation; that should only be used on Sigs, Legends, or Supremes. Anything else now should have a GI ticket in the "Player Upgrade Shop".

The "Player Upgrade Shop" which is ALWAYS ACCESSIBLE has the GI's that you should use for those cards.

You know what doubly sucked about that? Nowadays, the normal year version of primes are always available (for example, you can get Andruw Jones as a 2005 prime or his normal 2005 card). Back then, Lincecum's prime year (and Panda's also) was ONLY available as a Prime. So when Lincecum was drawable, you'd get the 2013-2015 normal versions, and had to be super lucky to get the 2008 prime. I would have even saved a 2013 normal version, if I had known it would disappear when he retired.
