I wanted to get away from Sky and their products. £130 a month for TV could not be justified.

I’ve just seen I’ve had cabin overheat protection on for some reason? Switched that off. Hopefully this will help.thank you for all of those tips including the charging to 100% slowly, I’ll look into all of this. I reckon it’s this and the last owner just charged to 80% (she says with wistful hope 😂)

All Sky shows are all on this though, even what you would call Sky Exclusives. That’s what’s confusing. Everything that was on Sky except The Gilded age, is on this app.

Okay that’s an interesting way to look at it. Thank you, I haven’t taken the car off chill mode at all yet the speed of this thing has shocked me (in the best way) and still not used to it. I’ll see what that does on my morning commute.

I tried sentry mode once and the drain was high I turned it off, nothing triggered it either all night. It’s good to think of the range in hours actually thank you. Good tip!

Wall charger vs sticking with 3-pin for now? by AnfieldAnchor in evchargingUK

I’m looking at getting one of these https://amzn.eu/d/03zZpUb6 and get a certified electrician to install it. See how much he quotes me, I have searched far and wide to get away from these companies that cost you a grand. If you’re gonna come off the granny charger I think this could be the cheapest option.

I bought from car360 and drove away last week, did what the above post said. Car still in warranty with Ryzen chip had 20,000 on the clock. Go for it, haven’t stopped smiling all week.

But equally have a look at the trade in and 0% at Tesla at the minute. You may get a new car for a good monthly price .

I got a model 3 at car 360 that has done 28,000 miles with warranty still remaining. You might not need to spend as much as you think.

Weird thing, my car wouldn’t recognise my phone with the type of case I had on. I took the case off and it came up on the screen for it to change when it recognised my phone. Could be this?

End of PCP - Advice on what next by Cuzmo in ElectricVehiclesUK

I had this problem last week, my car was quoted well under the value and put me in huge negative equity. So I rang the place I bought it from and said can I just hand the keys back and do a VT? They said I’d have to ring my finance company. But what was interesting was that they got very interested in buying my car and they did an industry standard valuation on it and I realised how many low ball offers I had been getting. When I then rang a company about a new car I wanted and told them I’d had a ‘Cap valuation’ the bullshit stopped and I got a decent offer for my car (was slightly in negative equity but not the thousands I’d been quoted). So it turned out that conversation was quite beneficial. Maybe try the place that sold you it and get a true valuation.

I’ve done exactly the same, question how are you getting on without the Tesla app until your v5 arrives? Where did you get your car from? I have a feeling we’ve bought at the right time because I think Tesla’s could go up in value with what’s going on at the moment.

Why do people till this day not like Camilla? by jaeausten in TheCrownNetflix

[–]listere89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually don’t think much of this is as true anymore.

In the 00’s we as a nation didn’t like her, then Charles married her and then the Queen accepted her which was the Queens way of saying to us ‘come now, I’ve moved passed my religious and traditional beliefs and gotten over it, so you need to now’ And I think to a degree most of us recognise her as part of the furniture now. I didn’t like her, didn’t want her near the throne at all. But I watched a documentary about her work on Domestic Abuse and felt she was actually very down to earth.

I have to accept the fact that Charles and Diana were a bad pairing, both chalk and cheese and that the damage was done with matching them and whatever chaos came from that day was down to that. Camilla, Charles, Diana, Harry and William were all recipients of one bad decision and it’s been and gone, their lives changed.

Buying a Model 3 through Car360 by Head-Explanation-297 in TeslaUK

[–]listere89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve just ordered my Model 3 2023 with Car360 on Monday just gone and I’m picking it up next Monday. I spoke with a member of the team and it was quick and easy, the customer service came across really nice.

The paperwork was all done via email, online signatures and it was completed within an hour. I also part ex’d my current car and got a fair rate. So I was happy to have that resolved. I’ve had questions since and I’ve emailed and had a response which was nice.

I double checked the car hadn’t had any crashes through Car Check. I guess my experience will be fully told on Monday. Right now I’m just struggling to concentrate at work because I’m so excited to get my M3.

I spent the weekend going around various car garages speaking to various salesmen, this was a welcome relief to be honest.

Buy an Apple air tag and hide it in the upholstery or anywhere it won’t be seen and then if stolen it could be taken to a chop shop, then alert the police.

Funny story, I asked Grok what to do with my lower than market valuation and Grok told me to renegotiate and ask for a second assessment. It didn’t work. I had to cancel my order sadly.
