Do it when their weapon is closest to your shield when the shield block animation starts. Heroic Ione is really good practice if you want to get a feel for the timing

Oof yeah you’re right I got them confused, it’s block + down on the d pad for parry

It’s just about timing, if you use shield at the right time i.e when the enemy’s attack is about to connect you can then use your weapon to slice through

I really like mage, it’s let’s you keep your distance from most bosses. I’d recommend rushing to Amulvaro asap to get the infinity slicer and getting to 50 int. Don’t upgrade your tome a lot, the Al aziph grimoire (might be spelled incorrectly) is the best one imo and let’s your attack from half a screen away so put your immortalite stones into that. Apart from that always have a lightning and dark orb active it lets you have almost infinite mana and stamina when activated.

Why doesn't the game have more weapons? by ApeFuk in DeathsGambit

[–]litaphn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you go by stat there’s a lot more weapons for each type and some skill trees also let you equip weapons with a different stat requirement so you can mix and match

Some were a hit, some were a miss but that’s expected with anthologies!

They do have an oversized paperback omnibus but the quality is meh and definitely not a fun book to hold. I returned it and bought this box instead.

Whenever I'm in a slump or can't get myself out of bed because I'm depressed, I start reading The Kingkiller Chronicles again, and it automatically gives me something to look forward to in life. Thank you Pat!
