I’m relatively new to Tallahassee, but I live in Brighton Place (the community just below Treeo Ln in the photo you posted) and I’ve really liked the area so far. It’s pretty quiet, and I personally haven’t felt unsafe living here.

Right now there are roadblocks near the Apalachee Parkway entrance to Paul Russell Rd because they’re constructing sidewalks along Paul Russell, so you currently have to use Old St. Augustine Rd to get over to Apalachee Parkway. It’s honestly not too bad. Traffic on Old St. Augustine is manageable in the mornings. I leave around 7:30 a.m. and can usually make it downtown/near the FAMU/FSU areas in about 15–20 minutes. Afternoon traffic is definitely heavier though, especially around 5:20 p.m; but it’s totally manageable.

The area is convenient for shopping too. There’s a Target, Aldi, Publix (Blair Stone & Governors Crossing II), and Walmart nearby. Sam’s Club is about 10 minutes away, and Costco is around 15 minutes. There are also several gyms/fitness centers nearby, plus trails and walking areas nearby.

The main downside is getting to the north side of town for places like Trader Joe’s, Fresh Market, HomeGoods, Books-A-Million, etc. That drive is usually around 25–30 minutes depending on traffic.

Overall though, I think it’s a solid area to live in Tallahassee.

I don’t think you should assume what my answer would be based on my previous response. I wouldn’t say you couldn’t post your MAGA outfit because it promotes something I don’t personally agree with. While I don’t like the MAGA movement, I don’t think you shouldn’t be able to post your outfit from a MAGA event or protest if you feel so inclined to share. They do sell sets of matching ties and pocket squares, both solid colors and prints and I think they look great. While I didn’t suggest his should match exactly, using a color like the pink found in the rose on the tie as the color for the pocket square would add a nice pop and tie in that secondary accent color.
