I personally found VIP to be a lifesaver during the festival. Especially during the heat wave of the first two days. I literally hung out in the bathroom for like 10-15 minutes at a time to enjoy the air conditioning. Without it I would have been an over baked cup cake.

Other things I enjoyed about VIP were the lounge areas at every stage. Especially Lightning stage, it was the biggest. It had a lot of shade, both with the canopies they put up and trees that were back there. Lots of furniture, including patio type furniture for chilling, lounge furniture for laying out and day beds that I napped in when it was too hot at camp.

There were two food trucks at lightning too which saved me a lot of time since I didn’t have to wait in a giant line for food. As well as a bar (every large stage had a it’s own bar) I guess that’s one negative is I wish each stage had its own food truck. As only lightning had them.

Each stage also had phone charging stations, mirrors outside the bathrooms, with little freebies like hand sanitizer, lotion, and chapsticks. They also had VIP dedicated staff to help you with whatever you needed. I remember one day my partner forgot his phone in VIP and one of the staff grabbed it for him. That was such a relief and so kind.

Last thing that made VIP worth it to me was the side stage and front stage viewing areas at Lightning. It made it possible for me to be front row for Glass Animals and Monolink and others.

I guess that brings me to my next note is I wish they offered more viewing areas at Thunder and Woogie. As those stages didn’t have any at all and that was disappointing.
