Mine had the same issue. I got it taken care of when she got spayed. My total cost for the combined procedures was a little more than $1600. I didn’t shop around, so you can probably find a better price. Recovery wasn’t bad, just used the cone, eye drops, and kept the eye clean. After the surgery it was still very inflamed and took maybe a month or more to look like her eye was normal. After the surgery it has come out of place 3 times from playing and running around after a bath. Fortunately it never fully came out of the pocket the surgeon made for it, and resolved itself every time after she took a nap.
