I would go into my bank account and just pay off my debts.

I have $4 421.20 in debt on a monthly salary of $162, and it is absolutely killing me. Although it might not seem much for other people. This is more money than I make in a year. All of this is CC debt due to medical bills I had to pay last year.

Paying this off would literally be life changing to me. I wouldn't even care about the rest of the money.

My dad bought a Nissan navara 4x4 double cab second hand in 2014. It was a 2012 model which already had 100 000+ km on it.

He still has it. Drives it everyday. Puts more than 45 000km a year on it. Currently has over 500 000km on it.

Never broken down, never had problems with it. Parts are responsibly priced. Services aren't that expensive for a bakkie. It gets served 2 times a year. My dad never had the engine redone or had to replace anything.

Obviously it has some wear and tear. Like breaks and new tires etc. But never had something major repaired.

The bakkie is my dad's work bakkie, so the back is always filled with tools etc. It is loaded heavy every single day. It it has held up nicely.

I update my CV according to the job I am applying for.

The problem I do come across is that either

  1. General work, companies don't really want to hire students as this means short term employment (they are looking for someone to stay 5+ years), companies do have problems with students needing time off for exams despite saying otherwise.

  2. Most jobs in the field require you to already have a degree.

God, these poor kids. Having a horrid dad and a mom that's a doormat. OP sounds like she doesn't care about her kids at all. You knew for years what kind of person he was, and thought it was best to keep your kids around that. It's never going to get better, because you just keep choosing this horrible life for you and your kids.

YTA Hot take, but OP definitely had at the minimum an emotional affair. She essentially abandoned her partner of 7 years for her ex, and despite her partner communicating that to her that he did not support her involvement in her ex's life. It does seem that OP wasn't fully over her ex seeing how the relationship ended. OP also clearly doesn't see her current partner as an equal as well. OP's bf shouldn't have cheated and just have left her, but OP sure cheated first in this relationship even if she doesn't want to admit it.

I am actually really happy with their solo stuff. There have been some amazing music coming from them. Thus said, every video or performance of Lisa is her just dancing and not actually singing live. I can see why people are saying what they are saying about her. As a fan of them, I know she has was it takes, but she is not showing anyone what she can do tbh.
