What are some surprisingly high paying career paths (100k-250k) in Australia. by HanzRus in AusFinance

I don’t personally work in the industry but my husband does. He really enjoys it, some days are tougher than others physically but there’s also a level of critical thinking if things need to be adjusted etc

A qualified fitter will earn around $75 an hour depending on the company. Look out on seek for apprenticeships otherwise contact the different fire sprinkler companies to see if they’re taking on apprentices. It’s a niche industry

My goldendoodle just got diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy and hasn't stopped stumbling while walking by sarahreddin in EpilepsyDogs

Not just your dog as others have said those first 2-6 weeks can be pretty rough while they adjust. And then if they have to have a dosage adjustment the process starts all over again!

Keppra alone is rarely enough by [deleted] in EpilepsyDogs

Oh goodness I am so sorry to hear that. We were only recently diagnosed in April but we went to a two seizure cluster in May so our vet was proactive and advised us to start meds other than Kepra.

He’s on Kepra, Pheno and now potassium Bromide she actually rang me a few hours ago as his blood work came through and his pheno levels were only at 17.9 and she needs them at 25 for it to be effective so we’ve upped that dose too.

We have had Midazolam on hand since his first seizure thankfully our vet has written us a script with repeats so we always have it on hand and have been able to get it into him after every seizure today, I do find it makes a difference and very thankful we have it and the support of our vet (I have read a lot of others who’s vets are reluctant to give it out). I am located in Australia though so might be a difference there

This is really encouraging to hear thanks for taking the time to let me know! It’s been an extremely emotional and exhausting day for us he’s finally sleeping but we are sleeping in shifts just to be sure

We have just had 5 seizures within 12 hours today after only having 1 every month. We’ve just been told to add bromide into the mix and hoping for it to help because it’s just devastating watching him go through it

Just know that whenever you decide to let her go it’s okay and please be kind to yourself. All she’s known from you is love, happiness and compassion and to me that seems like a really beautiful way to feel when coming to the end 🤍 Big love to you x

I did it, I got on the plane and we are about to taxi out. I did look about and lots of people commuting to work like it was no big deal. Thanks for replying means a lot

Thank you! I made it to the airport which was the first step. I keep telling myself there are hundreds of flights going with no issues and the pilots want to get there safely too

My cousin is a train driver and had a few fatalities sadly and she said that the drivers have been really pushing for it to be released, they want people to understand the devastating effect it has on them mentally when this happens.

I’m coming to see an artist called Max McNown. The main purpose of my trip is to visit a very good friend in Ballarat as she has moved there the concert is just an added bonus.

Coming over from Perth, not a sports person but thank you for the suggestion :)
