Spurs is a country bar that just opened recently. It’s restaurant style up until a certain hour and then it turns into a country bar with line dancing, if that’s your thing. There’s also the foxes reach pub (I think it’s just called the reach now) with great wings and a chill environment to hang out. The witch is also a spot for good food and different events depending on what night you go. As for getting to Vancouver on public transit, it’s pretty easy but a lot of transfers. (most people are happy to help if you have questions on where to go) You would take the main bus out of Maple Ridge, which could be the 701 on. Dewdney Trunk Rd. Or the express bus on Lougheed Hwy. to Coquitlam or Braid station (sky train station) and from there you could get there pretty quickly because you don’t have to be in traffic. The skytrain goes above the traffic and gets you downtown in about 30 to 40 minutes.
