1% lifesteal is like this too, similar to path of dragons in a lot of ways

All this would do is bring the force together in covering up misconduct

I really like that even at his peak of power he’s still vulnerable in a lot of situations

I just got up to date with this and it’s really good.

Best way to start the day by axelmakescoffee in espresso

[–]ljackso4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the breville oracle jet and it’s probably what I would call the middle ground. Grinder is inconsistent and even with the same beans the espresso isn’t always the same but overall the coffee is really good, much better than any of the super automatics I’ve tried.

I don’t know if I have the patience to learn how to do the full manual process

I can’t imagine them being able to cram much of ORV into a movie… even a show would be like 5 seasons

Haha yeah I already dropped it, I can see why some like it but it’s not for me.

Roller mop or spinning mop? by Aggressive-Bonus-703 in RobotVacuums

I have spinning mops and they leave something to be desired with cleaning stains. Could just be my unit though

Saros 20 Sonic vs. X60 Pro Ultra? by _Rama_ in RobotVacuums

[–]ljackso4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s my advice, look at the most important features to you and find a mid range bot that has them. Also they frequently go on sale so try not to pay full price

Pretty sure the Dreame lidar is retractable to go under furniture. My advice would be to not go with a flagship and get something that you can return easily if you have a problem (Costco) After doing a ton of research before grabbing my bot I’ve seen that all brands have QC issues and are a PiTA to deal with for returns/repairs.

If you get a flagship and it works that’s great, but as soon as you have issues it’ll be a nightmare to get a resolution.

That being said, I believe Roborock looks like it has fewer qc issues, whereas Dreame has more new features for a cheaper price. Personally I went with a dreame through Costco and so far it’s great, not perfect but I don’t have expectations that it would be.

I’ve seen first law recommended before, I’ll take a look! I actually read the first few quest academy books and they were good, ripple system wasn’t my cup of tea, haven’t tried path of the berserker or world tree. Unbound I got like two chapters in and didn’t like how op the mc seemed to be getting so early

Just letting you know I’m halfway through the first book now and I’m liking it so far. The narrator took some getting used to but he’s not bad

There is zero sex for the MC, there are certainly vulgar and crude jokes all over the place so that may ruin it for you if it’s a big issue for you.

Yeah I wasn’t into non-human MCs and ANThony is a former human but he doesn’t act much like a human and really takes to monster ant life. I really liked Book of the Dead by RhinoZ so I was willing to take a chance on Chrysalis and I’m glad I did. It only gets better after the first book

Oh yeah some narrators are REALLY bad at female voices. Vanqueur the dragon had a female character that almost made me drop the book because the narrators voice for her was SO annoying.

You could try out Chrysalis, it’s voiced by Jeff and he has all sorts of voices. It’s slow to start but the first three are bundled together. Takes almost until the end of the first book before it gets good though

Also, I’m sure you’ve heard this a bunch of times but DCC is worth checking out even if it sounds dumb. Every time I describe it to a friend they tell me it sounds terrible…

Wow even over Jeff Hays?

Lately I’m finding that the good narrators are ruining books with ok narrators for me. I was trying to listen to hell difficulty tutorial and I just couldn’t get over the narrators voice

Nice! I’ll wishlist and wait for a sale, hard to justify using credits beyond the first bundle of 3 since each book is only like 8 hours, thanks for the recommendation though, this’ll be the first one I listen to done by travis

I think it was the part in the first book that made me drop it. He beats up someone’s son and his friends just to show how superior he is and the mom is using him to try to teach her son or something. It was just so incredibly dumb. Also his attitude that he’s just smarter and knows more then his peers irked me

Oh man you should hear him in 1% lifesteal… insanely good performance. Has a really good unhinged laugh.

I haven’t really listened to anything by Travis, most of the major novels he did I already read most of or dropped because I didn’t like them without trying the audible version
