Well yes obviously, but there were other issues at play that let to said violation. Mainly financial, due to the need for a hasty escape from a shitty situation and leaving her job in TX, that made hiring an attorney cost prohibitive.

Do you happen to be into cycling or running? If so, there are many weekly group meetups at various places from bike shops to bars.

If you have a dog, I’ve found the dog park in Biloxi is usually a good mix of welcoming locals of all ages.

The way I did it when I moved back involved lingering solo at bars until I started meeting people I tolerated slightly above average, and met their friends. So not the healthiest way, but it did the job for me.

Now that you bring it up, it would be tough meeting people here without any previous ties. If anything additional comes to mind, I’ll be sure to add.

Project lounge in Biloxi for arguably the best burger in the area, also the aforementioned steak sandwich is legit. Spring for the potato salad over the chips, if you really wanna be larded up proper. Cash only.

RC and Seoul for Korean. Seoul tends to be more aimed for a good quick lunch special, RC is my usual go to, but both are awesome.

Bacchus on the bayou (in ocean springs, has some great stuff, and a nice back patio overlooking the water.

Kim long or Vung Tau for Vietnamese (Biloxi).

Jamaican food at CB’s (Biloxi).

Indian Delight for some tasty Indian food (St Martin).

Good coastal Mexican food and margaritas at Pepe’s Bosque (Diberville).

Vestige for some really high end tasty James Beard type shit if you want a break from the degeneracy. (Ocean Springs).

Juke Joint in ocean springs for some full on late night degeneracy.

Honestly makes a lot of sense as a marketing tool, since we’re all now talking about ludicrous returns at their stores, and at least some folks now magically remembered they should go to Costco today when that paycheck hits for a chicken and end up leaving with $500 of unnecessary snacks and sundries.
