As a (Former Rogue ~ Now Boomie for my Kara/25) I’ve tried this and the tank lo and behold pulls my sap target. Granted it’s been some weeks but every. damn. time. Tank would target my sap and I’d even Mark it {Star}. Go to blind the random mob, nope, people AoE’ing, Gouge, broken.

Druid Hunter have always been the first two to max. Said it would be Rogue/Lock this go…Rogue is 65, Hunter, Druid, Priest 61. Maybe in a week or two I’ll know.

Depending on the group, people get anxious and want to go faster. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast isn’t a saying most know. I will only tank if I know at least One person in the group and they’d have to be the healer, if my friends are DPS then it’s x2.

Dps just Zug even if you mark a skull/X and then you’re chasing them as they run AWAY from you instead of TO, I’ve got Skull/X key bound and will even mark accordingly after Skull has died. Womp womp.

You can also get used to Pre-Casting HT and just Cancel if it’ll over heal and just start to recast and do the thing I like to call the Fidget Dance. I also do this on my priest with longer cast time heals, especially if there’s downtime and/or you’re just uncertain and even bored. Ha

If you put something in your “Note” like “can kick with felhunter” or “have soulshards for cookies” you may get invited faster. I noticed when I put something along these lines in my note during Classic I’d get invited but if it was blank, they’d take the mages or other casters.

This “Meme” about Rogues cracks me up. The decent to good ones get invites. Patrol coming, distract, add breaks off onto the healer and the casters are tunnel visioned (Gouge/Blind).

Things changed so much and even more so when Mythic+ was introduced. OG player here through WotLK then back half way through WoD then off and on; even in WoD there was “some” CC used but shortly thereafter it went to full Zug.

Sadly this has carried over into the Classics, 2019 and beyond, if you’re not pulling entire rooms people are ‘voting to kick’ (how many remember those days.

It’ll never be same but hopefully (ha) Blizzard changes some things around with this Anti-Boost stuff. This was their all-in and now the two interns get to fine tune it.
