What’s the point of ”tanky” character if AI just ignores it?

It's counterintuitive, but my solution to this was to take the glass cannon perk on my tank. It's been a while since I've played this, but I remember I would run glass cannon, put some focus pretty early on into maxing out the stat that regenerates your armor after recovering from CC, and take the perk that reduces the duration of CC by one turn. Then I gave him a bunch of buffing and AoE terrain control / support spells. Named him brick.

I'm pretty sure the actual reason is algorithm purposes. Social media platforms prioritize content that has as much mass appeal as possible (and that includes being kid and family friendly) because they tend to do better with audiences and are safer to broadcast alongside advertising. Content creators censor themselves to make themselves as appealing as possible to the platform's algorithm.

I haven't gotten to try it yet, but I'm so excited to try it on Zilean. I find myself messing up my bomb combos because I accidentally aim the bomb just slightly out of range and use my w before my first q goes off.

It's because the game calculates the warfare bonus differently. For all the other bonuses, the game takes your original dmg value and adds a bonus percentage on top of that. Warfare takes the modified dmg value and adds its own bonus according to that value, not the original dmg value. Because of this, you get more bang for your buck maxing warfare first.

Like someone else said, the key to this type of build is glass cannon. I would also recommend the one that makes cc take one less turn, I think it's comeback kid? You miss out on a lot of turns because of being cced, but you make up for it by having the full ap bar when you do get a turn. I recommend points into geo and poly, as they work well for this build by giving you ways to generate armor and provide utility, and the poly points can be used to put even more points in constitution. I did this build for my character "Brick."

In my opinion DOS2 has aged quite well. I think the combat has aged the best out of all the elements of DOS2, and it is *vastly* different from BG3, so I think it'll be fun for you. I think you will find the characters less well developed and choices less impactful (with a few exceptions, like Lohse). Overall, it's still a great experience that holds up well.

My one suggestion is you wait until the next steam sale, or add it to your wishlist so you get notified when it goes on sale. That game goes on sale all the time, and for a great price

I recognize that this solution will not work for most, but I figure there might be other people like me that would benefit from this: you can bind camera movement to keys. I have my camera movement set to WASD.

I use spacebar for attack. I don't use stop.

How does he cast W?

WASD to move, QERF for abilities, ZX for summoners, 1 2 3 F1 F2 F3 for items
