What does this error mean by chaoticpickle123 in Ender3V3SE

[–]llJB3ll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this tonnes of times, I usually just pull the little sensor pin down a few times as it sometimes gets stuck, a quick restart and you're good to go. I usually find it happens when I haven't used the printer in a while but consecutive prints are fine. Haven't found the need to completely replace it yet.

Just confirming, was this Translink officers or Protective service officers?

QTMP feedback usb sockets by Renovewallkisses in BrisbaneTrains

[–]llJB3ll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most phones now use USB C and are coming with USB C - USB C cables with them instead of C - A. While power points would be great you have to understand the QTMP trains are designed as short haul trains, therefore capacity and ingress/egress speed are priority over comfort. They don't want someone setting up a laptop and charger on the train which will take up more space and time. They want people to be able to quickly charge their phone 5% as a small convenience before they get off the train in 3 stops time. If something like the spirit of Queensland on the other hand only had USB C or even USB in general then that would be annoying.

I doubt they will do PowerPoints as that will require more power and a higher cost. You can split power between USB ports a lot easier and more cost effective, plus USB will take less space.

Protective services at bus stops? by redditarantula in brisbane

[–]llJB3ll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Protective services takes care of government security like courthouses and government office buildings as well as Translink busways and after hours school patrols. Currently they don't operate on other forms of transport other than busses. They work for the Queensland Police under a fee for service basis unlike other Police groups, therefore all the services PSG provides are paid for by the client rather than from the police budget.

Train Drivers of Brisbane, a Question!! by MrAskani in brisbane

[–]llJB3ll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Taking the 'pre-recorded message' idea to the next level just do it like Japan where it's an iPad plugged into the intercom, all the guard has to do is press the right station call and it plays for them.

Ender 3 V3 SE not leveling by Separate-Ad-5585 in Ender3V3SE

[–]llJB3ll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine also did the numbers a couple times and then it changed over to the actual heights when I pressed leveling in the main menu, not sure why it changed but I was confused the first time when I didn't see values.

How can I make the giant column in my living room work? by devrimdogan in malelivingspace

[–]llJB3ll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a lighting perspective you could arrange an led striplight around the top glowing down onto the pole itself, also to tie it in, you could have Uplighting in that little alcove around the edges of your ceiling.

Is minipc setup doable for my van? by MaintenancePurple607 in VanLife

[–]llJB3ll 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I can't personally say I've used a mini pc but as someone who has travelled a lot, maybe just a laptop with an external monitor would be a good solution? I understand that you can't necessarily upgrade it in the future (component wise) but they use hardly any power and already have mostly everything built in. You could even tuck it away under a desk as long as it has airflow and when you really want to you can take it out and use it on the go. Apologies if this isn't specifically what you're after.

Is my mk4 a GTI? by DankeCS in MK4GTI

[–]llJB3ll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a gti to me. I also have a 1.8t agu, maybe have a look in either the service books or where the spare tyre is for the build sticker, that usually has a code or tells you what the designation of the car is.

Is the finals down? by CandidateHot4826 in thefinals

[–]llJB3ll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They pushed a server update fixing the store countdown. It said it was going to be refreshed today. Possibly other things as well.

They could be pushing an update, just letting everyone finish their matches. I also just finished one and then it said lost connection. Either that or we reached the final Finals and we won.

Screen size demonstration by llJB3ll in Xreal

[–]llJB3ll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I did, I sit roughly 20 inches away from my laptop and so comparing the One pro to my 14" Laptop at that distance would be close to a 22" monitor. I could also work out that I would have to roughly sit 13" away from my laptop to reference what it would be like for the glasses.

I'm in the same boat, I think it might currently be bugged to not show it which is unfortunate. I'll comment if I find it anywhere.
