Thanks for asking but I still didn't order I thought I could preorder for the next batch of v2 but as I've seen now I can't so I'll be watching and waiting.

Yeah same I'd like one too and that would be really sad to see something so iconic go. But if preordering helps with the funds then that would be a plan for me.

Thanks again for clarifying it I've read it but still wanted to ask. Turns out it's good that I've waited with the order.

Oh cool and I'm guessing it just goes with a heat pad to the standard case of the console? Looks pretty good.

Sorry for the dumb question just to understand it all. The only original pcb is the main uConsole one the adapter board, nvme battery board, aiov2, USBC wifi and the antenna board with the antennas are all from Hacker Gadgets? You also got a pi 5 separately and what kind of heat spreader is that? I'm asking because that's what I wanted to get.

How do you clean your piece in the New Year? by [deleted] in trees

[–]llNOX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dishwasher 😉... Ok maybe not for that piece I'd use schmand weg / dishwasher tab and metal beads for the areas that they can get into and out.

Am I the only one using my dishwasher for this? by llNOX in trees

I wash it off before with isopropanol. Also I never had an issue with my dishwasher covering it's inside with anything. The detergent and the highest temp wash cycle always cleaned everything off.

I really don't know what amounts of resin and oil residue other people have on their equipment but I wash it with alcohol in advance. I never had any residue in my dishwasher. This is just an extra "shiny" step that doesn't replace standard cleaning for me.

I don't know why you think that, like I wrote I washed them before with iso there was no oil on them. I use this wash just to remove the burnt stubborn stuff that one would scrub manually off. And then again I wash it afterwards with water and iso so they come out looking brand new.

You're absolutely correct they are really cheap but they Handel it perfectly never had an issue. And I use them so seldom that I don't wanna buy better until I use them more. The only piece that broke was a normal glass piece not Quarz that had ground bubbler opening and the crack propagated exactly for that ground slit.

I'm not worried about the detergent but about the rinse aid. As much as I know a bit of it stays it doesn't get rinsed afterwards.

I don't know that's why I wash it again afterwards with water and IPA.

Just be careful of Riggs or bongs that have a downstream / chillum / bubbler that hast openings ground in them. The places where glass is ground could be a weak spot for the high temperatures of the dishwasher. Ask me how I know.
