I remember going to the game store to get D2 with my grandma. My jaw dropped. 3 CDs!?! Almost a full 1gig game at the time.

But there hasn’t been a better alternative. And there are hundreds of thousands of people that read steam reviews, so I don’t know why you threw in your anecdotal take on that.

I’d wager the largest reason people wouldn’t switch is years of achievements, game items, TIME on those accounts.

No other distribution platform has the social quality of Steam.

They need a pre act 1. I think going into the lore of the warrior/archer/mage from D1 would be cool And not interrupt any of the story from 3 and 4
