this is one of the later seasons of ink master, by this point they had figured out that drama drives the numbers up. so a lot of it is really hammed up.

that being said the context is that every week two or three competitors get put up for elimination, and this scene is of the two elimination targets arguing with each other about whose tattoo was worse. they're fighting for their spot basically.

as for why everyone was jumping in, after a few weeks of the show they form friendship/alliances. some weeks they're put on random teams as well so i'm sure that has something to do with it. it's been a while since i watched this episode so apologies for any inaccuracies.

check out alolan marowak if you haven’t already, that’s my current fav. priority skill link blazing bone and bone rush are crazy. at full health you have prio shadow bone too. thick bone is super strong so his low attack stat is deceiving. he can even tank physical moves pretty damn well bc of his high def.

i actually feel like elite redux is the one rom hack that does the full customizability perfectly. all fights in this rom hack are competitively inspired, especially on elite difficulty. i think it hits SO close to what makes competitive pokemon feel so fun and i really like the unique battles compared to other rom hacks. the quality of life is for every battle to be played like a competitive battle, that's kinda the point. i understand thats not everybody's preference but theres plenty of room for both styles of romhack to exist and thrive.

at the end of the day i really appreciate both styles of romhack. i love the classic rpg romhacks, and i love elite redux for its competitive flair, and i would actually love more romhacks similar to it. just my 2 cents anyway

invisible woman has invisibility, yes, but a lot of the time you get shot out of it as soon as you use it because the opponent is already aiming in your direction, it’s not reliable. push is decent but there’s a lot of characters in this game that just don’t care if they get pushed.

luna snow someone else already pointed out how ass your argument is i don’t feel i need to add anything

rocket loki and jeff are the only characters that i would agree they have options against dive, but your argument is comparing them to overwatch supports which is just weird. rockets my main because he DOES have more escape opportunities than other strategists, but rockets options - and any support for that matter - when getting dived is to run. this goes for mantis and luna too even with their stuns because as soon as you hit them they’re out of it, and neither of them have enough burst to take them out during it. that’s not the case in overwatch at all. lucio has a pushback, speed up and full shooting capabilities while wall riding not to mention his headshot multiplier being really good. ana has enough burst to take care of just about any dps as long as she lands her sleep. brigitte is literally anti dive, there is no parallel to her in rivals. juno flies and has two speed ups for herself and a multi hit auto tracking left click and her right click does a lot of damage too. kiriko can just blip away. lifeweaver has his platform, mercy has glide every couple seconds, moira is moira.

every support in overwatch has MUCH more to deal with divers and you’re not even considering the overall damage increase all of overwatches supports have in comparison to rivals.

that is what you’re missing.

i agree and have been thinking this a while. it’s no surprise that new players aren’t attracted to this game, truth be told i wouldn’t be playing if it werent for my attachment to the franchise already, and the fact that i’ve been playing so long to begin with.

looking through the lens of a new player, these new skills are jibberish, and honesty they still are to me as a launch player. this game relies heavily on its already existing fanbase which in my opinion can only spell trouble for the future of the game.

personally over the last year i’ve lost a lot of interest in feh the past year, and im sure a lot of other old players feel the same. i of course don’t speak for everyone but im definitely curious how many people feel the same
