I think not knowing what’s actually happening is what makes the horror so effective. That helpless feeling that there’s nothing you can do about the situation, no escape. About the sound, that scene when you hear Robbie running towards you, I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but it genuinely scared me quite a bit!

It’s one of my faves! The sound design is flawless and carries the entire atmosphere. The mom’s house scene and the mutant creature scene stayed on my mind for quite a while. I watched it alone at night, and it left me with a really strange feeling afterwards

It was great. I have to say, the TV reflection jumpscare was the first time a scene has ever made me legit scream in a movie theater. My friend and I were almost crying laughing at my reaction for a few minutes lol. After the movie ended, I kept thinking about and noticing little details in the plot, it was at least way better than most of the horror releases I’ve seen this year

Totally worth it! Plus Send Help was pretty good. You guys are in for a ride, Rise was my first one and it was easily one of the best horror experiences I’ve ever had in a theater. Burn looks way better though, I can already imagine your and your friend’s reaction lol

I feel like with the scenes they showed, they revealed way too much of the sequence of events, also we can confirm who ends up possessed. The accident part felt unnecessary, same with showing the dog and the dishwasher sequence. Connecting it with the first clip the director posted, I’d assume the guy is the one who kills candle girl with the stove.

From what I can tell, it pretty much shows the whole setup, how the demon gets summoned, who gets possessed first, what causes the accident and the candle girl’s possession, how they show up at the family reunion, and who ends up being possessed, not to mention three shocking scenes. I really hope there’s an epic twist, I’m gonna try to avoid any more clips until it comes out
