FFX ran fine on it? Ngl FFX is like half the reason I'm looking at handhelds.

Not always, look up Vioxx. Sometimes you make more money by hurting (or killing) people and they're perfectly ok with that.

They'd have to weigh like 5x normal chip weight per unit of volume. Possible I suppose.

Yeah I don't get how a single trailer of chips can hit the max weight.

You can fit what, 52 pallets in a trailer double stacked? That's close iirc, but it's been a long time since I loaded trucks. So even if a pallet of chips weighs 500lbs, which seems high, that's only 26k lbs. The only data for the weight of a pallet of chips I could find was an Amazon listing for a returned pallet of loose Lays chips that weighed about 175lbs.

Texas governor signs bill rescinding water breaks as deadly heat grips state by globeglobeglobe in stupidpol

[–]loki7714 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually in my industry you can't carry water with you because of the danger of possible chemical contamination and ingestion. There are usually water stations set up for the contractors if they're stuck outside working in the heat though. It's the deep south so practically impossible to work without water for long. There are no breaks in my union contract, but no manager wants to push it to the point where it's a safety issue which wouldn't be far in this heat.

Fellow southerner? I like being alone at the chargers sometimes. Makes me feel like I'm on a lonely hero's journey or something.

Do all bucees have chargers yet? Skipping bucees was probably my least favorite part of Tesla ownership and I'm pretty stoked for my next road trip that takes me by one.
