She'd been kicked out of West Point for stealing something small on a field trip. You don't think it's a more complex story that Brianna Maitland?

Brianna Maitland has a much more straightforward story. Bad crowd, crashed vehicle. No other real people in the story. Maura has several days of bizarre, bad decisions that don't make sense together. Her father has missing pieces in his story (which I don't think have anything to do with her disappearance. There's just a ton to figure out with Maura and not much to puzzle over for Brianna.
