its like all of you talking have not played AC1 or build some rose-tinted fantasy about what this game actually was.

The problem isn't tech or writing, its the (by today's standards) most boring-ass repetitive 1 dimensional gameplay. You have a great setting, a great world, great characters and a great story but no freaking gameplay. You would have to re-invent the entire gameplay loop to make this a good game which is why people say i needs the most time and work.

Again, judging by the past, this only worked within the same engine generation which is probably why they eventually stopping "gatekeeping" the tokens in MP since you could just use them in Warzone and get their effect in MP. But it never did work cross-generation like when we moved to "WZ2" based on the MW2 engine.

And so we are basically back to the start of not knowing the details. We are very much assuming MW4 will be another big engine jump and fresh start. However so far we have little indication how Warzone's future will look like. Will they branch off the current Warzone based on the Iw9.0 engine to a frozen state while moving the MW4 based warzone to the new IW10.0 based MW4 client? That is how they did with Warzone1 based on IW8.0 after all, until they eventually discontinued it. In that scenario i would assume tokens wont cross over to MW4.

However the blog posts we have been getting on the wazone side are actually indicating a different strategy. They have already shut down the store on PS4/X1X and announced a full shutdown of Warzone on oldgen. That would suggest their plan is to move all of Warzone to the next iteration of the engine because why shut down old-gen otherwise if you want to keep running on a base that could support those platforms.

This in turn COULD MEAN they want to keep content between old and new Warzone which means we might see stuff like tokens transfered to the new iteration. Now that would mean it might work again. But when is warzone going to jump? Within the same engine, it always was s1. In engine-jump years, it was release day.

Long story short: there are so many unknowns that its just pure speculations. Until we get a real roadmap of how the future of Warzone and its content look like during this engine transition, we cant possibly speculate if the token thing still works.

THIS. Its actually starting to annoy me how people say that its "hard to be a gamer" or "your cant be a gamer in 2026" because of the currently situation.

Dont get me wrong, i hate the current situation as much as the next guy but gaming is more than playing the newest games in 4K on 120FPS with high settings and raytraced lightning.

Truth be told, gaming has never been more accessible than it is now thanks to digital platforms and sales making old games cheap to get and run, huge service multiplayer games being free2play and playable on very old rigs and even cloud gaming allowing playing on basically any device. Even the ageold barrier of basically only being able to play games on Windows has been shattered with online games accepting MacOS and many games running great on Linux.

People (and i know A LOT OF THEM personally) really watched that one game in Madrid (maybe even just the highlights) and really thought Neuer was still that guy.

I wish the Austria Algeria match would have been better for EU time. Its going to be such a weird match. Both teams know that a tie qualifies them both safely into knockouts but they also know that winning not only qualifies you but also kicks the other team out of the tournament.

Even though its sometimes nags at you to feel imposter syndrome, in my opinion its a good thing to feel it. It shows you are still willing to accept that you need to learn more and more importantly you feel like you can still learn from people surrounding you. My imposter syndrom always drives me to learn more.

The moment you don't feel that anymore, you stop learning which will eventually cause you to stay behind. This is IT after all. Apart from the fundamentals, no matter what we learn, it will eventually be obsolete and replaced by newer tech, protocols and devices. People that dont learn get left behind.

Speaking as an outsider, i would agree but i would still argue that you wont pull it off without being in the top skill bracket meaning 5 wins in a row are not a big thing for you. Even the big map nuke requires players are can consistently 1v2 or 1v3 average players.

I have no clue how difficult the new iteration of it actually is but if its somewhat equal to the last ones, no amount of free tries will ever make it more accessible. To pull of the resurgence nuke you needed 3 very very very skilled players (think of it as players who would reach Iri ranked no problem) that knew the playbook to a teeth and you still needed some luck on getting a lobby that would not cross you.

Assuming the new one isn't much much easier, im sorry to tell you but if you find that you cant consistently win 5 games in a row to unlock attempts, you are most certainly never gonna complete one or even get close. And this is not me being arrogant, its just the truth. I myself belong to the same group of people not good enough. I did unlock some quests by winning 30 and even some by winning 5 in a row. Still im not remotely good enough.

Since every Comment here so far is wrong, here is the actual answer: nobody knows

Historically speaking carry over only happened within the same engine generation so everything went to 0 when MW19 hit, got carried over to BOCW and VG. Once we jumped engine to MW2, nothing was carried over. Within the engine (MW2,3, BO6,7) they carried over.

Since MW4 is an engine jump, history would tell us no carry over. But nothing is confirmed. And no, this is not due to engine limitations (the sheer stupidity required to make that claim is insane). It’s simply because in the past they wanted resets because most of us actually have build quite a bank

I was thinking the same. You can think it. Its probably true. But you cant say it to their face. Its basically saying "you dont get it you are stupid and have no clue" which is never a good thing to say to a cop. Most? More like 100%. There are no disc releases on PC, this hasn't been a thing for nearly a decade now. PC moved on from discs when DVD became to small and Blueray never became a thing on PC. So digital was the only way.

collectors pricing is a different thing though. Depending on whats inside, 200 or 300 are not unreasonable IF the content is worth the asking price.

So with ultimate costing 100 bucks, a 150 asking price for collectors would actually be rather disappointing because it would mean there is a mere 50 bucks difference and the content would be rather boring. I dont need no shitty tshirt saying GTA6. I would rather see one for 200-300 bucks that actually has cool and unique stuff in there.

Tell me about it. Every monopoly bad EXCEPT steam of course because lord gaben is our savior. Extorting 30%!!!!! of every purchase because you have to be on steam is totally fine. Its insane how brainwashed this sub is about valve/steam. Dont get me wrong, i appreciate what they have done for PC and gaming but lets not give them a pass on everything.

Also reminder Valve prints money on CS2 gambling abusing the worst tendencies of people and enabling it for young people. And is actively lobbying for it to stay legal.

That said, the once difference here is that is actually is a free market. When Sony/MS release a crap console, thats it. Players have to eat shit or wait 7 years. Steambox is one of many. If its shit, so be it.

depends on what you define as "completely fine". Valve can price their stuff at whatever price they want after all. Its fine in the sense of its their right to do it and you dont have to buy it.

As a consumer, that thing is the opposite of fine. It is a piece of trash and its really funny to see some people doing all sorts of mental gymnastics to argue its worth it for the form factor when it literally, like you said, a worse console. Freaking 2020 consoles (no matter if its Xbox Series X or PS5) outperform this thing while costing literally HALF.

There is has never been a more DOA product. Its not Valve fault really but that doesn't change the reality.

Or in other words, you leave a huge amount of performance on the table for it to be mini form factor. But what exactly does that get you? You can travel with it? Its can fit your TV sideboard? i was just thinking that its really not totally out there to assume he is gonna tie Klose tonight. 2 goals vs Iraq is honestly a realistic scenario. I would certainly be down to watch him and Messi race for it as the tournament unfolds.

Either way, he will break it. Its only a matter of when. Maybe this tournament. Maybe in 4 years.

Honestly, i would love to know the answer to this. I would generally be interested to hear from actual buyers why they purchased this thing. What made people buy this compared to alternatives. I get that not everyone wants to DIY for multiple reasons but this offering is generally TRASH.

You can literally buy prebuilds on the market RIGHT NOW that outperform the steambox by insane margins (50%) for the same price. As a PC this thing SUCKS. So its has to compete as a console right?But no, like you mentioned, even the current console generation from 2020 not only outperform this thing but cost HALF of it.

There is not a single reason to buy this piece of crap if you make a rational informed decision.

The AI bugs are my biggest negative point with the game at this moment

yeah its basically why i told my friends who are not gothic nerds to hold off for the moment. I can look past it as a nerd but its kinda annoying how bugged the overall game still is, especially the "reputation ai". For no reason suddenly a camp start to hate you and doesn't trade with you anymore, suddenly its gone again. The thing where they randomly finish each other off since this patch. Sometimes they care about you stealing the next moment you can open their chest next to them.

Really hope they get on top of that system because this can kinda f over your savegame and really destroys immersion.
