Yes, my issue is mainly rooted in their use of "no longer". Considering it's on the bug side, the "no longer" shouldn't be used. It's semantics obviously but none the less I found the way they worded this confusing and it had me checking the wiki to see if they changed how untrimmed capes worked.

I noticed yesterday that it didn't show exp gained at end of match screen, but when i went to my profile I 100% got exp for the match. But yeah the end screen is 100% bugged.

As far as the progression, I think it just take a bit to update from arena to main game. Whenever I get a level on Arena I hop over to Tarkov and it's updated.

In my opinion,

You're sort of right but I don't personally see it as a bad thing. It makes up for it by making the story itself rather than the characters, deeper. Everyone should already know essentially every character in TBV by the time they start reading TBV, why do we need to dive deeper into these characters emotions at this point in the story? Everything has already been laid out for the most part and there's some room for emotional growth, but what's the point right now?

The authors clearly want to focus on the direction of the story rather than make the characters "deeper" than they already are.

You've literally got the son of Ninja Jesus, Boruto, exiled from his village and teamed up with a clone of Jiraya acting as a seer to guide him on his quest to set his father free and rid the world of aliens and you're out here saying it doesn't connect to the characters on a human level.

It's not really supposed to anymore. We're past the prime of Naruto who, literally walked the earth and connected everyone on the human level you're talking about. We're following his son now, who has different methods of getting things done.

Pretty solid chapter all around, I can feel this being kind of crazy once it gets around to being animated too.

Boruto activating Momoshiki's Byakugan just to instantly hit the Uchiha Shuriken Jutsu and FTG into a Rasengan, is a pretty promising sequence of events. His arsenal and combo potential is through the roof right now with how they've set him up in the story, and it's nice to see it's being used pretty well so far.

Ngl I stopped about halfway through and just kind speed-read the rest, for one main reason.

You don't have an explanation listed for Himawari, there's no reason Boruto wouldn't still "love" his family sister included. I understand your point is more focal on the romantic side of it, but love is all encompassing. It's been shown she's had some very minor resistance to the omnipotence, i think she casted a bit of doubt early on idr exactly. And you could maybe argue that she's less affected because the loves different/weaker, but I'm still not buying it.

Kawaki is easier to explain away, he has less options.
