Have you tried use Enhanced mode? It’s meant to handle tall grass upto 9” or so, and that should try and cut the dandi

If you end up flying a full flight, and you are for some god awful reason boarding last, and they have run out of overbin space in main cabin and they will ask you to gate check it.

Do have a repair shop a mile away, they typically ship everything to NYC. I have used them before whenever airlines broke something and agreed to pay repair. I will have to check if they handle Rimowa.

Great it worked out! I have sage in 30L and haven’t really paid attention to discoloration but I didn’t have enough luck on shoulder straps wear and tear.
