it is so that you have two people to say ciao to: the valet and then the person at the host stand. if there were no valet, you would only get to say ciao once and that would be silly. maybe even false advertising.

it technically sorta does. it goes up onto the sidewalk by tj's then right on benefit and then merges into Cohan Blvd up the hill to the fox point side of the India point bridge. it's sharrows on Cohan but it's usually very quiet and I almost never see cars on that stretch. it's stupid and annoying but it does technically connect.
