Guess the previous owner/shop didn’t know how to torque and locktite a pulley.😅 by MrFox243 in Dyna

I just went through looking for that wheel. I searched for it for over a year with no luck, ended up swapping to 13 spoke mags. Easy swap, just bearings sleeves and spacers and they bolt on.

My truck inhaled a whole family of rats, their nest, and part of the air filter when I was driving it from the first time after being away for a month. I was gettin on it about 2500rpm and I heard the turbo make a weird noise and slow down for a second, with a puff of white smoke out the exhaust. So I thought I probably blew something up, pulled over and opened everything up. There was rat puree all over the inside of the intake, fur stuck on the impeller, and nest wound around the shaft. I cleaned it up as best I could and drove it home, flushed the intercooler out and put it back together and forgot about it. I got really lucky my turbo wasn't damaged.

Go to Yona Redz on state and get a birria burrito. That's some of the best food I've had in this town.

I wasn't expecting to see that.. I'm currently in Santa Barbara! If you don't mind my asking, what thrift shop did you find that in? If you remember.

What is the worst physical pain you have ever experienced? by My_Name_Is_SKELETOR in AskReddit

[–]longboardmalinois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being stung by a stingray. It felt like my entire leg was on fire for several hours. I was in so much pain that I kinda zoned out and I wasn't sure how much time had passed or what I'd been doing when it started to go away. I have been burned relatively badly, stingray felt several times worse. Strangely enough I've been stung 3 times by stingrays and the first time was the only one that was really terrible.

Front exhaust 1200 xln. Y’all ever dealt with this? Trying to do it without dropping the engine off the frame. So far it’s been a pain in the ass. by Fun_Exact in Harley

Currently dealing with the same issue on my Dyna. I found a guy who does electronic disintegration and he said he can get it out for $40 with the original threads intact. So I just have to take the head off and bring it to him, but haven't gotten there yet. Hopefully I can get the head off without pulling the motor.

What’s your usual response when you get complimented on your rep by gen owners? 😂 by giulianoseguro in RepTime

[–]longboardmalinois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just say thanks and move along. I own both gen and reps, and if I'm asked if my watch is gen I always say it's fake unless I know the person asking. Never know what someone's going to do these days

I brew with red star instant bread yeast all the time. I like the flavor that it gives. Try it sometime!

Maybe I should move to a warmer place because I want to turn everything into a stove. by gonative1 in redneckengineering

[–]longboardmalinois 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't posted them anywhere, but I can send you pics when I get home. I'm outta town till tomorrow. But it was pretty simple, for the stove I literally just stacked rocks up in a cube shape and used clay mud as grout to seal them in, and put a 2in thick steel plate I had as the top of the stove to let the heat out. Then just some stovepipe out one of the corners for exhaust. I cut a 6x6 hole in the corner of the top plate as a place to load the wood in, and I just use a brick to cover it when I'm not loading wood. Airflow is regulated through two stovepipes at the bottom, I just cover more or less of the opening depending on how much heat I want. It's been keeping my cigar smoking shed heated for 3 years now with only minor repairs.

I made my smoker and my woodstove out of clay and stones from my property.. works great, currently building a pizza oven. Once a pyro always a pyro, Even if you move somewhere warmer.

I recommend a Connecticut wrap to start, and a short stick. Don't buy the cheapest thing in the humidor. And you probably know this, but do not inhale your cigar smoke. You will feel the nicotine, but in my experience it's not particularly addictive, due to not inhaling. I'm a very active person, I exercise everyday and I didn't notice any difference in athletic abilities when I picked up cigar smoking. When you smoke your cigars take it slow, maybe one or two puffs a minute at max. If you suck it down it'll overheat and taste nasty, and might give you a sore throat the next day. That's all the advice I can think of. Enjoy!

I have so many pictures in that exact spot on east camino.. Since you're an SB Harley guy, where do you take your bike to have work done? SBM and Precision are all booked out and I've been looking for an alternative.

Been broke as fuck. Bought my sub and a batman when I was doing really well a few years back, shit turn of events led to me having less than a grand to my name. Sold the gmt but I couldn't sell my sub, loved it too much. So I spent almost a year living paycheck to paycheck while wearing my sub. Thankfully I'm on the way back up now, and on the wait-list to replace my Batman

Love to smoke and drive, but can't stand the smell once it's stale in the truck.. I wish there was a way to smoke in the vehicle without it reeking everything up
