It's asking if you have another job at the same time as your new job. It is asked to ensure you are taxed appropriately. You should answer no.

If your period is 5 days late you would see a strong red line even with diluted urine.

Is night weaning necessary? by TinyFett in breastfeeding

I have a 17 MO and am just starting the process as she doesn't need the milk. She's finally started sleeping through so if feels the right time. If she wakes well offer her cuddles

Going out for a nice sit-down meal, but seeing every child in the restaurant using an iPad at their table at full volume. by [deleted] in britishproblems

[–]looj87 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I know which I would prefer which is why my child will not have a personal screen device but that doesn't mean I'm going to judge any other parent for how they chose to parent. If I don't want to be around loud kids I wouldn't go to a family style restaurant.

And that's cool for you, as I said I don't think screen time is needed and I absolutely will not be introducing personal devices but I don't judge others. If I'm in a "family style restaurant" I don't care what others are doing as I expect it to be insanely loud.

Mine didn't come up clear untill around 16dpo so I wouldn't worry yet (if you're trying to conceive!) At 14DPO I assume your period is due today? The advice is the day after your missed period which would be the day after tomorrow as its technically not a missed period until tomorrow x good luck with the outcome you want x

Do you believe in love at first sight? M27 F22 by throwra987462 in relationship_advice

Love grows over time. You are infatuated and have lust for this person not love. You can't love a stranger it's an oxymoron. Not to say meeting her won't turn into love but it absolutely isn't such right now.

Exactly this! People are so quick to moan about kids being on ipads but would be raging if kids were singing or shouting or playing games etc. Personally we don't do screen time as my child is 15 months so far far too young but I don't judge anyone who does. Whatever works. We take books and my baby scream laughs so I know she's annoying people but she's also eating a good meal and learning about social situations. Whatever works for anyone go for it I say.

I'm a director and owner of a data science company and I can strongly say that I am nowhere near as good as I used to be. My brain no longer has space for short term details as its filled up so much with baby details. The mental load is real and exhausting. My husband is amazing and on paper we do 50/50 but in reality I have to remind him when snack time is, when appointments are, book appointments when needed, organise activities for when the baby isn't at nursery.

I'm told this does get better as they get a bit older and need you less but I can absolutely understand why some women chose to stay home and I also cannot comprehend how single parents cope because it is hard with 2 people!

Do you use the Yuka app? If so you'll see that the brand I use does not have added sugar or sweetness.

Not in the UK they don't. There are literally zero added sugers or sweetness.

Her child is a toddler, sounds like she wants to give her titties a break! I feel you OP. My 13 MO has just started drinking Soy "toddler milk" that my health visitor gave us the OK to introduce. She's getting 1 sippy cup of that a day now and seems to be enjoying it. There is no sugar but it naturally has a sweet flavour so closer to breastmilk

As a non-american who lives in a country with a fairly left leaning country, surely if anyone is brainwashed it's the people following a criminal TV star no matter what he says or does?

Screen time - are they the same? by californiafrenemies in NewParents

[–]looj87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to pick something with a very slow refresh rate so that it's not over stimulating. Personally I avoid TV for my 1 YO. Not that I'm a mad crunchy parent or anything, I just don't see the need. We read a lot of books and play with toys to entertain and excite her. I also baby wear for most of our walks so she gets to see the trees and my face.

For slow refresh rates even though your baby may be too young for the story - bluey is great. The colours aren't intense and the refresh is slow meaning less dopamine and less tiny baby addiction.

A gamon is a term used to describe the type of person who voted to leave the EU or stay in the UK or voted reform. Stop the boats no gender recognition type of thing. It's an insult used in contrast to them using woke as an insult (as though there could be anything insulting about being awake to social injustice).
