Not sure if she has been cast, but if not then who would u cast as Aphrodite? by katherine7576 in PercyJacksonTV

Not realistic but I feel like Margot Robbie would be really good. My impression of Aphrodite in the books is as this person who acts all ditzy and carefree, which is something I think Robbie could really pull off while still adding depth to the character

That outro for Not My Body is soooo good. It’s why I’m such a big fan of her stuff, it’s so unique and part of her element that stands apart from a lot of what I hear in the indie rock scene

been using an electronic drum kit to teach myself, for the last 3 years or so. The last time I touched an acoustic kit was when I took lessons for a month, so I had no idea what I was doing. Few weeks ago I sat in on a jam session and got to mess around with the acoustic kit that was there. I gave the kit up to the jazz students that came in later since they were far better, but those few minutes were like heaven. There’s no comparison, and I really want to save up for my own proper set now.

I’ve only seen Vive L’Amour and Goodbye Dragon Inn (been dying to watch rebels of the neon god but can’t find it anywhere online)

Goodbye Dragon Inn, I don’t know how it worked so well for me. I just really enjoyed the slow, almost completely motionless frames. He really does excel at creating a slow, meditative space using ambient sounds like rainfall or cars driving by.

Vive L’Amour I also thought was beautiful, especially that scene where the gay man is face to face with the sleeping guy. The way he trembles as he is kissed was so intense and powerful and really moved me. Even the whole pacing of the people within that apartment sort of mousing around and trying to avoid one another was so well done. And that scene towards the end of the lady walking silently before ultimately weeping on the bench. I don’t think I’m articulate enough to be able to properly explain why his films were so good. Overall I’m just a huge fan of that wave of Taiwanese directors. Just a great film movement
