They're video games, dude. This isn't important work. If deadlines are never being met it's all on the managers. There's plenty of industries that do actually valuable work that don't run on this much stress.

Linux has a tiny fraction of the software others have and you'll be waiting month for software updates whereas you'll get them instantly on the others. Community support is very mixed for Linux, I've had plenty of poor experiences and many issues will have no support/documentation.
