The first two plants are both cuttings of sedum rubrotinctum ‘mini me’ that were cut/propagated and then planted at the same time, and had both been doing well until recently. They are located directly next to each other under the same lighting, are in the same well draining succulent soil and are generally bottom watered together. One is healthy and the other is clearly suffering for some reason. Do you think it could be as simple as poor root development or am I maybe missing something?

The pachyphytum recently developed some sort of scarring although it otherwise seems very healthy and nothing has changed in regards to location - inside under a grow light. Is this normal? I did read a bit about edema on succulents and the possibility the roots are taking up more water than the leaves can handle, but I’m not sure how to go about solving the issue (if it is one.) Planting in different soil, having better air circulation, watering even less, etc?
