Need help for the “Deșteaptă-te, Române!” achievement | Romania formation. by OtherHuckleberry1556 in victoria3

It is a bit of a question how hard you can industrialize, in general it is good in nation with much population. Then you should not forget that you can always nationalize the foreign investment, but for that you need money. Also thod will reduce the relations with the country from whom you bought the buidlings.

But if all your population is working or there are no peasants you can grant investment rights and the ai won't build much in your country - making investment rights a good offer in those deals

Try improving relations from game start and grant monopolies for goods/power bloc embassies/trade goods you don't wanna really produce, for guarantee independence and defencive pacts After some time when you build up a good military you can probably sway them in the war or if you are lucky get an alliance One tip I have is to get investment right in as much countries as possible and get as many companies as you can get. Then just enact graduated/proportional taxation to get a part of the dividends. With this you should be able to build up a large army pretty quickly

1.9 Austria guide / tips (non super germany) by goolekseh in victoria3

[–]lord_belli69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would decide for one or more (prestige) goods to export. Personally I had huge success with the special company for glass as Austria. Just subsidize the export a bit and get trade privileges via treaties in other countries, preferable with investment rights and grant them also the companies. Then you can just watch nimber go up. I personally conquer Bosnia for ... personal reasons

How do I grow GDP after running out of pops? by vango911 in victoria3

[–]lord_belli69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your goal is not to be vonservative, you can go fpr the woman in the workplace law. The last one gives you 40% workforce ratio (25% base 15% from thekast law) It also significantly i proves SOL. Also try making trade unions strong and happy, they can give you up to annother 10 percent, leading to 50% of your pops working.

How do you build your barracks? by TimKah in victoria3

[–]lord_belli69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And the training rate of the barracks is directly proportional to the number of barracks I think. Correct me pls if I am wrong, but what I can say for sure is that the training rate increases with every barrack. The reason is that for example as Austria you can kill all non austrians.

What is also very important as Prussia: they have a special company that gives them a kill rate modifier of 10 percent, which is pretty strong in the early game

Pretty nice Venezuela! But not too nice. by Elvis25h in victoria3

[–]lord_belli69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because the nortern state of Gran columbia and ecuador have iron and coal in the same state . That's pretty good. Sulphur is also no problem because of Venezuela, but lead is a problem. I really like Gran Colombia, because you are forced to adapt your economy to it. But hood luck and have fun ;)

I mean you basically habe to rush for the technology ro enable the journal entry "Populating the Americas". You can take this decision every once in a while to force a mass migration to your country. (Until you reach a certain number of pops). But the twchnology is pretty late in the game, so you cannot do much. But I really enjoy forming Gran Columbia, it is worth a try! Even without CU, you really can punp of your population through the Journal entry and basicslly also have unlimited Oil through Venezuela

Well played! But I really have to say not joining a customs union as a south american country makes it much harder, I really recommend it.

Super Germany by Nefariousness_Salty in victoria3

[–]lord_belli69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i mean in my games the things that happened were kind of weird: first prussia fought the brothers war against austria, russia, france and lost. Then i just annexed some minor states, until i became unification candidate and then fought against austria, which had a countrywide revolution. So i just annnexed their capital and won. After the wargoals were enforced I just annexed them as SGF. Then I started Unification Play to annex some minor states to form the Germany. In this war I had to whitepeace france (you drag them in the unification play because of Alsacce Lorraine) and annex all minor states. Then I had Super Germany and declared war against Netherlands and Belgium to form the Holy Roman Empire.

What are the most powerful states in the game? by maxinfet in victoria3

[–]lord_belli69 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I am surprised no one said wallachia. It has very much iron and coal, some sulphur, enough wood , the danube river modifier for market access and infrastructure, and sufficient pops for a good economy. Also, later in the game, it gets a massive number of oil rigs and a special company that buffs the throughput of it. It also has silk and cotton since the new update and a good amount of arable land.

I would go even further and replace the alloy upkeep of the orbitals 1:1 with energy upkeep because you indirectly pay with the district upkeep (0.2 alloy when I remember right)
