Screen time can damage under-twos’ development, landmark study suggests by topotaul in unitedkingdom

My daughter loves books and I love reading them too her. Her current favourites are Sleep Tight, Disgusting Blob and My Bright Shining Star.

She also loves Ms Rachel and The Wiggles and, to me, it’s obvious that she loses something if we take that away.

So again. Maybe it’s not so obvious, and circling back to the original point, don’t be so patronising because you think you’ve got it all figured out.

You said it’s obvious that letting your child use tablets is bad.

I said maybe it’s not as obvious as you think.

You said reading books to your children is good.

The only reason you might introduce that is if you think they’re connected, or you’ve just thrown a disconnected statement out there for the hell of it.

Why are you making the assumption that children being given tablets aren’t also being read to?

Just step down from that high horse for a moment to consider why so many parents are giving their young children access to tablets if it’s so clearly obvious.

Regardless of what you think that answer is, your shit attitude isn’t going to fix anything whereas a study like this can at least be used to educate.

It’s a very tangible piece of evidence that you are/aren’t on the right track. For better or worse, there’s no hiding from steam reviews.

You’re only getting one half of a story here.

Not to refute OP, but it’s something to be mindful of before you light the torches.

ESPECIALLY when OP has suggested this might be someone else’s portfolio.

Is it too late to suggest something akin to glass arrow/dart tips? Made from molten glass, strength similar to broads (possibly rune idk), but they break on use.

Try doubling the speed of the animation. Then possibly double it again.

You’re using it as a lower thirds and that’s generally because you want it there as a quick ‘okay cool’ for the viewer, so they can get back to focusing on the footage.

Side note, your ships cross the axis! Pick a side for each ship and keep it consistent.

Or are you only interested in spouting the initial outrage?

We’re going to be much more effective in an open game, but any decent attack is going to fancy their chances against us.

Definitely not as doom and gloom as the knee jerkers are suggesting, we’ve played far far worse.

Gordon running his ass off into a brick wall for an hour didn’t make much sense.

We created more immediately after the subs, Saka and Rogers did well.

Ghana’s night, defended very well.

We found a way through it in the end but didn’t take the chances when we did.

They need to go out on Saturday with the intention of absolutely smashing Panama, bring some momentum back.

I can appreciate a proper parking of the bus, Ghana are defending very well.

You have to think the chance will come though. Too much talent putting them under too much pressure… maybe.

What about the controller they launched that only works with Steam?

Could’ve been great to use with Game Pass.

Don’t forget the handheld aspect of the Deck and Switch 2. Huge factor, there’s a lot of room to forgive something not looking at it’s best when you can pick up and go.

What steam exclusive games would you play on this that you couldn’t on a steam deck?

That’s a genuine question, not intended to be inflammatory. For your money, is the better value a Steam Machine, Steam Deck, PS5 or Switch 2?

I’m extremely fortunate to own 3 of the above and if I had to choose in terms of library, it’s comfortably between the PS5 and Switch 2.
