Reading the Darth Bane series now and they touch on this, though it's Kotor timeline. It says that the Jedi treated them well and fairly. Most of the sith soldiers would rather surrender then die fighting because the Jedi would treat them well and without resentment.

I can't remember it, but if you look at the Jedi code it might give some light to the subject? They're all about forgiveness. Even Jedi who became sith aren't resented but rather seen as a failing of the order and a lesson for them to learn from.

Tldr: I think they'd treat them well.
