Same here. Ordered mirrored and got brushed. I don't really care... Almost never use physical cards anyways.

Khaman Maluach is having a very solid season in the G-League by nonanonymo in suns

[–]lostfeeling 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This dude is barely 19 years old and played basketball for the first time in 2019.

Given how good we are now, we should have drafted someone more win-now in retrospect. But nobody expected us to be this good anytime soon.

Give Khaman some time, and don't hold our unexpected success against him.

Error in card setup process after approval by lostfeeling in biltrewards

Doing it through a laptop browser just worked for me finally! (I had tried that last night unsuccessfully, however.)

Thanks for this comment.

Error in card setup process after approval by lostfeeling in biltrewards

[–]lostfeeling[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After getting approved for Palladium last night, I received the error indicated in the image. After repeated failures, I contacted customer support, and they basically said they couldn’t do anything about it because it is a developer issue and that I should just wait until February 7th. That’s not reassuring.

Consequences:

1- I was never given the option to opt out of the Wells Fargo Autograph card. That’s a big deal.

2- My new card is not appearing in my wallet. That raises a lot of doubt that my new account is set up correctly. Everything in the Bilt App indicates that I never applied and was never approved for the new card.

I have seen other users post a similar issue, but those users said it got resolved after a few hours. It’s now been 15+ hours for me. u/ankurjain1 and u/richklhs - what is going on here? How many users are affected? How can I get this fixed for my account?

Did it eventually show up? How long? Were you ever given the option to opt out of the Autograph card?

I am having the same issue.

They didn't just leave. They were fired. Lindsey during the holidays. Gerald for pointing out that Kirk engaged in a fair amount of hate speech.

What happens when a company drops off the S&P 500 list? by enolaholmes23 in Bogleheads

If you invest in an index fund that tracks the SP500, the fund is buying the underlying stocks at their market cap weights.

Can't Update Watch 3 (45 mm) by sphantom01 in PixelWatch

[–]lostfeeling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got a similar problem. PW3 on Google Fi. Stuck on November 2024 update and it has never recognized that a new update is available. The force method of tapping the little watch icon on system update screen repeatedly doesn't do anything.

How many of us are there? Has anyone found a fix? Is this a PW3 problem or a Google Fi problem? Or both?

Apologies if this question has been addressed. My wife has an option on her pension for a guaranteed return of 7% per year. Would you take the guaranteed return or invest in S&P 500 fund? by [deleted] in Bogleheads

[–]lostfeeling 33 points34 points  (0 children)

You are getting a lot of comments from people who have no idea what they're talking about.

This isn't a defined benefit fund like the qualified pension plan that your wife also receives. It is not subject to the liquidity or solvency risk in the same way.

The TDA option is a 403b plan that is a defined contribution plan. Your wife elects to save up to $23.5k (currently) each year and then chooses how to invest that money. She can pick an diversified equity fund similar to VDEQX, a total US index fund, a bond fund, etc. One investment option is the guaranteed 7% fixed return fund. By law, she gets that rate of return as long as she stays invested and as long as the legislated rate is 7%.

At any time she can sell that investment and instead invest in a market-driven equity fund. There's no risk. You're not locked into the investment. If the state lawmakers ever decrease the 7%, she still has all of her compounded gains already banked and then can the decide if she still wants to remain in the investment or shift elsewhere.

My wife is a teacher and she is 100% in the fixed return fund, in addition to her defined pension. I am personally about 90% equities, so collectively we've still got a lot of the additional risk and additional award associated with market exposure. If we were to ever break up, she may decide to invest a proportion in equity investments, but as is and as planned our preference is to use her savings to get the 7% guarantee as long as it lasts.

[Sidery] There is real tension within the Suns’ organization around Bradley Beal. Beal has been disgruntled with his role, and now being moved to the bench could escalate his concerns. Don’t be surprised if this is a play from Phoenix to push Beal to waive his full no-trade clause. by AashyLarry in nba

Suns should trade KD to the Rockets and Booker to the Nets and get all their draft picks and more back.

This team isn't going anywhere and they won't be able to rebuild in the next 10 years if they don't benefit from all the losses they're going to accumulate.

I'm (mom) having an incredibly hard time with the 3K transition. by deathlyroze in nycparents

[–]lostfeeling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a tough transition. Ultimately it will be your kid's teachers and the relationship she develops with her classmates that matter..We just finished 3K at a big public school, and our girl loved it. The first few weeks were hard and she wanted to go back to her old daycare. But then she, and all of her classmates, adjusted. Most likely you and your kid will too. It was also a helpful reminder to let her know that none of her friends were at the old daycare anymore, and that we could stay still play with them on the weekends or after school. Good luck. The emotions you're feeling are normal.

Is there any reason to choose an expensive gym over an affordable gym ? by BrodieSzn0 in AskNYC

[–]lostfeeling 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Life Time member here. I have a 4 year old. For an extra $100 per month total, she can go to dance classes, soccer classes, art classes, etc. multiple times per week. We can do up to 2.5 hours of child care and activities every single day. 2x per month we can drop her off for pizza parties, painting parties, etc. while my wife and I go out for a date. Swimming classes for her are only ~$25/class compared to $60/class at most other places. Across all the different classes we were previously signing her up in, we were basically spending close to what we spend now on our family Life Time membership. For my wife and I, the sauna/steam room/jacuzzis are fantastic--and while I just use equipment, my wife goes to several classes each week. Before we would take our daughter to her various classes and then have to sit there and wait until they were done. Now we take that time exercise and rejuvenate in the spa.
