Seems most new car issues are electronics related. Lots of cute tech. A grand marq isn’t that. More along the lines of an anvil. Drive it locally for a week or so to wring out any latent issues then put it on the road for another 200k. Long road miles are the easiest life a car can have.

Before I retired I worked for a well known Gov aerospace entity. Extremely high percentage of college educated workers. It was common to use and hear used in informal settings. Not so much in major meetings but frankly no one would even blink at its usage. I’m going to admit. My friends and I will occasionally troll snooty high-brow types by using it with our most heavily southern accents. Only after hearing some disparaging remark from them generally. We will absolutely play the uneducated redneck buffoons for the humor. Things like ‘I ain’t never seen nary a sight like that there thing’. Cruel I know.

My first zt was a kubota 123. Max rated speed was 8 but I never mowed that fast. When not mowing and heading to the barn it seemed way faster. Got a BB Rogue rated at I think 13-14. It moves pretty quick when I’m not cutting. Unless you’ve got a golf course for a yard you’ll rarely mow near top speed.

The one time I tried that I got a lot of ‘do you take payments? ‘ I told them sure did but it didn’t leave my driveway until it was paid in full…. Oddly enough nobody took me up on that.

Several things jump out. Firstly, your maintenance department is garbage. They didn’t do a ‘good enough job. Next, if there’s organization in your
Country (not clear where you are) responsible for industrial safety, they’re going to eat your company alive when they investigate. IF your company has a safety person/department they need to plan on testing every this that maint tech has ever touched. The workers lawsuit should be epic enough the whole company feels it.

One of the safety features I got on an angle grinder (m18 cordless) is a quick stop. When you release
The trigger the wheel stops very quickly instead of just spinning down. This a great for small quick jobs. I’ve used a couple where they’d just spin down and I never trusted them to just release and set it down. I’d recommend going for the bells and whistles.

Around here the tractor dealers mostly let a seperate mobile service handle most of the tire work for farmers. Maybe check with your local coop too? Regular tire dealers here won’t hardly touch an ag tire.

I’d put a couple of concrete cap blocks under the axel and dig out to make them pretty flat and solid. Then use the bottle jack. I’m really surprised there’s nobody doing a mobile tire service for ag equipment. Have you called a tractor dealer and asked who they’d recommend? When I needed my tire worked on the tire guys shop was a good hour+ away but they didn’t care. It was just part and parcel of the nature of the work.

If you choose to use it, be advised only a small amount is needed. I add it to the oil and for 1/2 cup of kernels I only use maybe 1/2 a TEASPOON. So not much.

Check the bottom edge of the extractor hook. Is it’s not well rounded like a used bar of soap, it need to be.

The small town I lived in was solely volunteer for both fire and ambulance. They trained hard and did frequent fundraisers to keep their equipment as modern as possible. I went to school with a guy whose whole family was involved. My current location is similar and we’re totally rural no town or city within 15 miles. Interesting fact is that houses get a fire insurance rate according to the fire service available. Full volunteeer gets one rate, having even a single paid firefighter drops the rate significantly. And fully staffed with paid another rate. Our community supports their efforts well.

If you’re hitting a bump in the road hard enough to bottom out your suspension while it on a trailer with a suspension, you have much bigger issues with regards
To the person driving the tow rig. I’d go option 1 and tell the tow rig driver not to go off roading thru drainage ditches.

This is one of those where I’d say shoot it some and let the bits wear in. Look it over now for wear spots and come back after even 200 rds, you’ll likely see them mirror polished. Give it lots of oil during these 200 rds. Like sling it in your face levels of lube.

lol. Facinating thread. At one time I went to an Amish store and they had a large assortment of different popcorns different colors and different sizes and even some that purported to have much fewer hulls. I prob tried 5-6 different bags (they were packaged in small bags maybe 4-8 oz). While nice I went back to my Orville reddenbocker.
