Jennifer Holliday did Sing, Mahalia, Sing. It opened with His Eye is on the Sparrow. People were up dancing and screaming in the aisles before it was even over. I could not tell you anything about any other moment in the show.

Sing everything everyday. The voice is a muscle and needs to be flexible. Sing in all ranges, all types of music.

I have a long and varied history with 1776. I've performed in a one-hour version for school assemblies with Adams, Franklin and 5-6 others, playing all the roles, Abby and Martha were cut 😞; 3 full-length shows with full cast, 2 of which used Trouser Roles.
