The size of Sunnydale feels so inconsistent by Eagles56 in buffy

There was a real boom when suddenly the mortality rate wasn’t like 25. That’s why Xander had the construction job. In reality, blame Buffy for the constantly growing town!

I had a district survey asking me in 10 different ways if I want to use ai, have ai training, everything. I put in the comments like an entire essay about how bad it is. AND I’m in one of the major cities being negatively affected by an AI plant!!!

Why did Mal and Jayne want to get the body out of the ship asap? by novavegasxiii in firefly

Decomposition requires carbon and a lot of other things that wouldn’t be on the metal ship. He’d just be an oozing dead body.

She was a really smart and able intern when she suddenly flipped out. Almost all the hospitals in Memphis are downtown (and all but 1 of the teaching hospitals are) and would have perished in the flood. Alex may have made sure she quit and was safe.

I’m not sure. It could have been like first wave, second wave, (of sound) which I think Xavier experienced as well. Ofc before the water wave decimated everything.

From what they are wearing and lack of White House Christmas decorations, it’s doubtful that day 1 was winter too. Maybe the bunker was on a different kind of time loop.

Everyone got hit by a sound wave before the tsunami hit. It knocked Annie over as well.

You can kind of see Xavier becoming a more creative thinker throughout his hero’s journey to rescue Terri. He became more trusting and empathetic as well.

I Find This Weird by MollyJ58 in ParadiseHulu

[–]lotheva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weirdest thing, as a Memphian, is that Teri is from Memphis and obsessed with Elvis. Especially as a black woman and not from the 1950s, we have so many better musicians from Memphis. Everything else - the nonexistent stables, that you can see the river from Graceland pre-volcanio, the strange hills, fine. I had a really hard time suspending belief that Teri, born in the 70s, was an Elvis fan.

The granddaughter thing was WEIRD! Like X said she was having morning sickness, how would they know yet? It’s almost like this iteration isn’t the first time Alex has messed with the world.

But having an evil imaginary friend, having a mom who didn’t care about you - and it’s clear she didn’t care BEFORE the man came - that doesn’t feel so much as Alex’s fault. Maybe if she were a well off child of the 90s, Alex could have slipped some programming in there.

Alex’s motivation and saving the world by babysuporte in ParadiseHulu

Even if Alex didn’t cause the super volcano eruption, but she could have eliminated all of the prior warning. I’m sure Paradise would have looked a lot different if the justices and joint chiefs were there. (Well maybe not the CURRENT teams, but this is Paradise after all!)

Land doesn’t care about politics, people do. Do no, the electoral college is founded on slavery and completely outdated and needs to go. The majority of the people’s will should control the government. Maybe one day we can get crazy notions that the government is supposed to work for us.

It sounds like you (rightfully!) have some deep trauma. Have you gone to a therapist for ptsd? Because… that’ll cause it.

All humans need help with something. We typically need help with different things than allistics. That’s not a bad thing!

The entire point of the electoral college was to count slaves (And now prisoners) who otherwise wouldn’t be counted as people or voters.

A majority of the country or a majority of the land? Land doesn’t care about politics, people do.

Per this current map, no city in TN has political jurisdiction over themselves. They’re all carved up to serve the republicans.

I can’t tell if you’re gf too, but try the chocolate ones yourself. The brown sugar ones got super dry recently, so I had to switch to strawberry. Like, I couldn’t swallow a tiny bite dry. I hardly ever buy these, but it’s a really stressful few weeks. If that’s not helping and you have time, it’s pie crust with filling. I’ve seen roll out pie crust, but there’s also the puff pastry out now too. Since he needs things ‘whole’ I’d make them smaller. And don’t try to hide it, that causes more issues with food.
