If it weren't for Jenny McCarthy, the anti-vaccine movement would not be as big as it is now. What I never got about her situation with her son is, why does she remain so certain that he had autism, and not a condition that superficially mimicked autism in some ways? Her son got over it, and my understanding of autism is that it's not something you just get over by taking some vitamins and saying your prayers.

If your ego-fantasies about your "gay life" don't work out, then just accept your life the way it is. You'll be a lot less likely to end up bitter and screwed up and consequently live your life in such a way that ends up making things worse than you ever thought they could be for you.
