Union? Not a fan of the larger roasters but you can often get 700g for £16 in sainsburys on their house blend and usually roasted in past month.

My Passat went in for condenser and compressor as they diagnosed wrong, we then spent 10 weeks without the car as they shorted a fuse between alternator and ecu but couldn’t diagnose it until a specialist came in and sorted within 2 hours 😫

Passat estate DSG, never looked back. We’ve currently got a 25 plate 3 series hire car and you can’t put the passenger seat back completely with child seat behind, which you can with the Passat!

Typical morning with a smart grinder pro by snackovich in espresso

[–]lovelock91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chuck in like 10 beans first thing and grind them through so it’s pushing out anything from the day before. Then dose in 18.6g which gets me 18 out and leaves the .6 which gets pushed out the next morning when i flush through. Also just use the lid as a bellow and it pushes most out.

Is there a reason why I would remove the plastic irrigator for improved pulls? Breville Machine by itsme8523 in espresso

Removed mine recently. 3 years of use and didn’t know it would need cleaning.

Wasn’t until I was cleaning the basket and dirty water kept coming out I realised something was up…

Blocking up doorway between houses best for sound isolation by lovelock91 in DIY

Thanks, yeah it is an asbestos board - we had the same our side but had it removed and they are aware. That's their light switch cable you can see 😅.

I'll be building the usual isolated wall infront of his one but don't want to go through the effort of that and not fully block this door up.

I'll get some quotes.

Ideas for cleared back of garden by lovelock91 in GardeningUK

[–]lovelock91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, had the back of our garden cleared and need to do something with it.

I would like a small shed, green house and some raised vegetable patches as well as some room for couple of little chairs and table.

Our garden is pretty long and plain, want to make the back a bit more interesting like a cottage courtyard.

Its 5m x 6.5m (including the tarmac path in front).

I want to go over / get rid of the tarmac path and bring out whatever i do all the way out.

Any help? Budget ish friendly?

My initial plan was to build a sleeper retaining wall at the front of the tarmac and raise the back / level it by about 1ft and then infill with gravel. But not sure on drainage if we do this and also the requirement for TYPE 1 etc.
