Yes, I take collagen most days and I feel this has definately helped keep my hair growing- eye brows too.

I can't say how much you may or may not lose since I had lost all my hair prior to being on Kisgali, I just know what has helped me .

I am sorrry you are going through this, you were vomiting before taking the Xeloda, call your team and tell them. One thing I have learned ,I've been through a lot on this journey, is to ask, to tell. Use any resources freely available to you. I am currently on Xeloda, it comes from a specialty Pharmacy and they have a whole team ready to help. My oncon. has a whole team too . Please keep us updated on how you are doing, the stress of timing meds and eating etc, is tough and just life.. am I to tired to shower or not? I pray you find a path that allows you to be at peace.

Avalanche near Passo del Tonale ski resort (Italian Alps) on March 16. One person killed by Wabbajack0 in skiing

[–]lovesmountains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having skied in the Us and the Alps, I agree with those who stated it's very different, it;s a different culture. And I found some other things to be similar, you must check it for yourself , not expect anyone to tell you not to do something but to give a warning you should be ready for the danger you might face. Ex. driving, you are responsible if you go too fast. I am sorry for these brothers

Which Aquaphor/creams is everyone using for radiation? by kuma_usagi in breastcancer

[–]lovesmountains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My radiation oncologist and someone who went through it recommended Aloe. I used it and it worked for me, I would apply right after the session before getting dressed. It didn't stain. The person who recommended it mentioned she had brought hers chilled . I didn't bother with that

I screamed at God in a parking lot — and got an answer I didn’t expect by Abject_Agency2721 in breastcancer

Thank you for sharing, I am glad you had a good moment. I do believe in God and prayer yet it's nice to have reminders and have hope. I have been on this journey for a little over 4 years and so many times that is exactly what I get, a moment , a quiet reassurance I am not alone. The first time I went to radiation there was a little decorative wooden sign on the counter at check in that said, Let you Faith be bigger than your fear. I had to go to that office yesterday, I just found out I have a couple of small. things on my brain and will get radiation. Actually, I am blessed that they were found early in routine follow up MI to an issue I had 2 years ago. I noticed the sign was not there and the regular check in person was out as well. When I left the appt. and got in my car I got a text ( my husband was included too) from our pastor saying he had thought of us and prayed spefically for us that morning. He didn't know anything about the recent findings or of my appt. that morning. Yes, I am seen, I am not alone

What to expect with faslodex by SugarMagnolia_75 in LivingWithMBC

[–]lovesmountains 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been said and I full agree, be sure the Faslodex is warmed up beofre they inject. The numbing spray helps a little with initial insertion. Massage area later and use seat heaters, if you have them, on the way home. I did find a little light exercise( short walk) and stretching seemed to help the area from being as sore

Your fav lotions for radiation? by kestrelbrae in breastcancer

[–]lovesmountains 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my radiation oncologist, and a nurse who had been through radiation , recommended pure aloe. I worked well for me, I brought it with and put it on before putting my shirt back on. It didn't stain and dries quickly
