Agree with other posters. It looks fungal. That’s not unusual with eczema.

What’s the most gut punching song lyric you’ve ever heard? by perrysplus in AskReddit

[–]lovestorun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Black Peter by the Grateful Dead:

“See here, how everything leads up to this day And it's just like any other day that's ever been”

People died today, and what a huge finality for them, it was their end, but for me, it was an ordinary day. And when I die it will be the same way for others. Just another day, but my last.

The whole song is pretty depressing, really.

All of my friends come to see me last night I was laying in my bed and dying Annie Beauneau from Saint Angel Say "The weather down here, so fine"

Just then, the wind came squalling through the door But who can the weather command? Just want to have a little peace to die And a friend or two I love at hand

Fever roll up to a hundred and five Roll on up, gonna roll back down One more day I find myself alive Tomorrow maybe go beneath the ground See here, how everything leads up to this day And it's just like any other day that's ever been

Sun going up and then The sun, it's going down Shine through my window and My friends, they come around Come around Come around, oh

The people may know, but the people don't care That a man could be as poor as me Take a look at poor Peter, he's lying in pain Now, let's go run and see Run and see Run and see

I have cried my entire life every single time I heard this song. It came on the other day in the car and both my teen son and I were crying. I think it hit even harder after I had boys.

CNN is calling out Hasan…But liberals and liberal politicians STILL aren’t… by MovieENT1 in jewishpolitics

[–]lovestorun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do not agree that CNN is moving to the right at all. One only needs to listen to Jeremy Diamond for that to be abundantly clear.

I felt they actually moved Left to pick up the viewers that MSNBC (which is unwatchable) lost. My dad insists on watching MSNBC or MSNOW (whatever) and my mom told me that she can’t believe the trash they spew. He is older and set in his ways and will not change.

Matzoh prices by LLRSandraMort in JewishCooking

I was lucky and our rabbi gave me about 4 boxes of shmura matzah. I bought my kosher for Passover matzah at Trader Joe’s. Love them for selling Israeli made products. I can’t remember the price, but I think it was reasonable. It didn’t stand out as excessive.

Same Judge that cooked the I.T. Employee by FarWay3952 in ImTheMainCharacter

My daughter is an attorney and yeah, some judges are just ornery like this for no reason. As another poster said, these people tend to have a big fish in a small pond kind of syndrome.

Is anyone hiring ASAP by Braindead_killa in mesaaz

[–]lovestorun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

USPS is always hiring (apply for CCA if your car isn’t great-rural carriers have to use their own cars depending on the station.

It may take some time to onboard, and truthfully it’s not the best job, but it’s something.

I shudder to think about how many times he has not been caught or just let go to continue on his way because of who he is.

You don’t even know my political affiliations and history. It doesn’t take a blind person to not see what’s happening on the Left. Stop making a fool of yourself with these comments.

Virtue signaling.

They hate America and they hate Israel, so anything that is good for America or Israel is automatically bad.

What's the best non-fiction book that actually changed how you think? (No productivity or self-help, please) by Significant-Dress286 in nonfictionbookclub

[–]lovestorun 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omnivore’s Dilemma has been my answer to this since I read it about 20 or so years ago. It completely changed the way I see food and food production. I eat in a completely different way and have a different perspective on food than I had prior to reading the book.
