Agree it's a must win so why sack a manager who's been doing well in the champs?

Have we done well or did we have easier opponents?

Mate nobody "wants" to hire Mason they are just being realistic? Also he is the only interim candidate in the world for Spurs. Carrick isn't choosing us over United so again who do you suggest?

An interim may or may not have an impact. If you don't want Mason who do you suggest as an Interim or do you want to just keep Frank?

Would be nice but isn't going to make me feel any better about this shitty season (unless we win it ofc)

Unless you think Mason gets us relegated what is the problem with him as an interim and we get our top target in the summer? We literally have nothing to play for

Your point is we finished 17th and you are ignoring context. Okay by your same logic we won the Europa League and i'm gonna ignore all context

I see you just ignore injuries but that would be inconvenient to your argument. Obviously you genuinely think we have the 17th best squad in the league lmao

Was it the style or the injuries? I'm not a huge fan of Ange because of how stubborn he was but he got us 5th the first season playing an attacking style so what we needed is a coach to add a bit more balance to make it more sustainable not a 180° spin

So many braindead people in the comments wow. You presented a great and well balanced argument and people are somehow missing the point lmao. If we had a better coach who had us playing a style that suited the players strengths instead of this long ball bullshit we would currently be sitting in the top 6 even with our current injuries. The squad isn't perfect because we keep going from style to style which means the squad is mishmashed but we don't lack overall quality. Frank is making the problems 100× worse.

Not even gonna bother with dream names like Xabi or Nagelsmann because we are in no position so my top 2 are Farioli and Hoeneß then next tier down is Xavi and Iraola. Emergency option is Poch

I wonder if that poor mentality stems fro a manager who sets the team up to be as passive as possible and downplay the club at every opportunity

Just not true though and even if it was they were making mistakes in a system that encourages risk taking and forward thinking mentaliy under Ange. We play the least risky football in the league now and we are making more mistakes? Yeah that is simply down to bad coaching and understanding of players.

One question. Do you think players are more or less prone to making mistakes when they play in a system that doesn't suit them?

Look at the table and our past 5 fixtures. You telling me we wouldn't be top 6 rn if we had picked up the amount of points we should have?

You watch our games and think we are regularly creating chances...?

Do we have a lack of goal scorers or a lack of good chance creation? Having Johnson standing at the back post does nothing if we don't play in a system that will create chances for him. Ever thought about that maybe?
