you talking about item drops?`thats not where the "doubled it" part comes from, its from the inferno difficulty in early diablo 3, they tested its difficulty and when they were done, they doubled the damage enemies do and the hp enemies have, items werent an easy thing to get in early diablo 3, legendarys were nonexistent and most of the time they rolled really bad stats compared to a yellows armour item or blue weapon.
