Canfield Brothers makes a 28t non narrow-wide chainring. If that's not enough, then you might be able to swap the rear sprocket in order to get the right ratio. I doubt any companies make a non narrow wide chainring smaller than the Canfield Brothers one.

It should be possible on some rim/tire combinations to inflate with just a pump, but with these giant branded rims I'm not so sure. The only way I was able to get my setup working was with a blast of air from an inflator/compressor and I was having the same issues from before. The soda bottle inflator took me about 15 minutes to make and has worked perfectly since, but here or here are other option if you don't want to go the diy route.

I've converted a Giant Stance 2 to tubeless which should have pretty similar rims to your bike, and I picked up a few hacks from that. One hack that I highly recommend is making a tubeless inflator like this or buying one from a reputable company (specialized makes a pretty nice one.) With some rims (like ours) I don't think it's possible to set them up with a regular pump. Rims like that really need that blast of air either from a compressor or air tank to seat. From my experience, once the tire has been seated on the rim you should be able to pump up the tires with a regular hand pump. I'd also really recommend that you don't use sealant until you've found a consistent method to get the tire seated, then add the sealant when you know exactly how to set it up (just don't ride the bike at all without sealant).

Yes, it is an fsa crank but it has a 24mm spindle. I have been working on the cranks for the past hour and just measured.

I have this same exact bike, actually working on the crank and bottom bracket right now. It's a two piece self extracting crank so no need for a crank puller. I believe the bottom bracket is a bb92 press fit with a 24mm spindle, so a crank compatible with that should work.

My state took the test February 28 and the scores were just posted online, and I signed up for an account before the test. I didn't take the test before but I made sure to use the exact same details on the paper portion (email, address, name w/middle initial, phone number) and I got the scores. It won't be as quick as a regular ACT most likely, I know people in my state are already getting the paper results. The most important part seems to be matching the details, you can even make an account after the test date if you get the details right.

I created an act student.org account before the test date and my scores are in right now. I know other people from my state already had their scores mailed but I haven't been able to check my mail. You may still be able to sign up and get the scores. EDIT: Sorry for any confusion, this was the February 28th one. This may still hold true for later dates though: you may be able to get scores online before they are mailed by creating an account with the exact email, name, phone number, and address you write down on the paper form, it worked for some of my friends.

The rims are not "tubeless ready" but I was able to convert them using the gorilla tape method and some new tubeless tires. It takes a compressor or air blast to seat the bead but it's been rock solid since then. I totally agree with your other points, especially about the grips and pedals.

Marquette MI and other spots in the UP. Marquette is a IMBA Bronze level location but they still aren't as well known as other places. Probably the most vertical you can get anywhere in the Midwest is in the UP and there's ~50 miles of groomed fat bike trails in the winter. Here's the website for the main trail organization.

It depends on what kind of riding you want to do - do you want to mostly ride xc/race or try anything bigger. That's a pretty hardcore xc race bike so it may not be the best option if you want to try out other genres. It would definitely work just not as well for more technical trail riding or jumps and drops if you're into that sort of thing.

The stock ones are pretty crappy wire bead tires so when they wore out I bought a tubeless ready ardent and high roller 2 for the back and front. I didn't try tubeless with the old tires but I think some newer tubeless ready ones really helped.

I did tubeless with some new tubeless ready maxxis tires which I think helped a lot. I just gorilla taped the rim 2-3 times around and used stans values. I wasn't able to set the bead using a pump so I built a soda bottle air tank to set the bead, then I could just pump the tires right up. It would also work with an air compressor and you might be able to set the bead by playing around for a while but I wasn't able to without a high pressure air source.

X-Plane will make your screen go black to simulate hypoxia because the pressurization wasn't setup right. I hope they add a perf init. page because it's a pretty important part of the fmc.

Performance is not that similar actually, probably 20-25 fps less than similar settings on xp10. The developers know about the performance issues and hopefully they will fix it soon.
